The question should be, who liked him apart from the Bosnian, Swedish and the Croatian fans/ppl?
I remember very well and everyone was even discussing this issue on this forum that whenever he wasn't performing he was being whistled and booed by the fans. Could be because of Capello favored him and left Ale out for no reason? I don't know TBH but he was booed way too many times. Even Blasi wasn't that booed and whistled.
P.S, when I said day one I didn't mean when he just signed the papers, I meant his first year when he was playing and giving his show against smaller teams but chocking to the big ones.

His point is that how you can accept someone speaking bad of the Club you support after playing for so many years and how you're hating on Moggi for the obvious things lets say he's done. Logically, If you want to defend one of them, it's pretty normal to defend the other. But If you're attacking Moggi for what he has done to the Club, Thuram in no way is different since he spoke bad about Juventus.

It's certainly a fair question. Many people here hate Moggi's guts but he did love working for the club and acknowledges its greatness. Thuram and the like just go around bashing it, claiming it wasn't a good club, and discussing matters they probably have no idea about.

I knew his reputation coming in. And I didn't want "Cassanate Lite" at the squad either, and was fully expecting his own brand of Zlatanate. And when people still wanted Cassano to come after his arrival, I didn't know how Capello was going to have enough diapers to go around.
But his first season he performed and wasn't too much of a big dick about it. His second season he choked. A lot. So much so, I could say that we could have technically lost that Scudetto because of both his play and Capello's bone-headed insistence that we continue playing him as he kept hogging the ball, losing it, and taking ridiculous shots in front of goal that were downing flying birds.
Then his attitude came out and I saw what I douche he was being in the locker room. I wanted his ass out of the club before the end of the second season.

This is how I see it. We're in crisis, we need reinforcements. A guy like Thuram (let's say hypothetically, Diego) says sure I'll play for Juve. Fine, Diego turns out to be great, just what we needed. A few years later he leaves. The fans suddenly hate him. Oh you ungrateful mercenary, how could you yadayada. The thing is though, at the time Diego was signing that contract he took no vows to worship the club forever. What's more, if he were explicit about it and he said I have no intention of staying here a moment longer than to further my career, and you were a supporter of a club that desperately needed him, there's no doubt in my mind you would have struck that deal anyway.
Exactly what i wanted to say. I think everyone (well...almost) loved him in his first year and everyone (again...almost) disliked him in his second year.
For 99% of the Juve fans it had to do only with the way he was playing, nothing else.
