I've been thinking a lot lately about our possible transfers and I see two possible options.
First one is to buy young virtualy unknown players full of potential and also to give a more chance to our youths. The good thing is that means wa are building team for a long term future but a bad thing is we cannot expect good results immediately. And alo I've red on Juventus. com that we are gonna invest in our youths more.
The second way is to buy already proven player who are on they peak like Frings etc. The good thing is we are gonna have competitive squad, but the bad thing is that theese players are only temporary solution and we gonna need to replace them in few seasons which means new major spendigs will be needed.
In my opinion we should try to mix somehow the two ways. We should sign few good players but not above age of 28-29 yrs. And also we should think about few important elements like how we gonna give Palladino more chance if we are going to sign Huntelaar who will take his place. I know Hunter is an excellent player but if he arrives we are loosing Palladino because he can't make progres by sitting on the bench. The same thing is with Paro if we sign Mavuba, Frings or other midfielder we are loosing Paro on the bench. I'm not sure how we gonna solve this problem but maybe loaning them to mid table serie A clubs can help, or we should develop a good system of player rotation so everyone could have chance. Also we must think on our current youth players like Giovinico, De Ceglie, Marichiso, Urbano etc. couse they will not play for our youth team forever. Perhaps loaning them is best, but please no co-ownership deals...
I don't know about you guys but this is my opinion how we should do things, and I'm pretty conviced we have great youth team full of potential we should take advantage of that.
