Lo stesso centrocampista ad amici fidati ha dichiarato: « Sì, l’offerta della Juventus è buona e mi intriga. A dire il vero mi ha cercato un altro grandissimo club europeo (dovrebbe trattarsi del Real Madrid) ma la proposta bianconera è molto più allettante e, quindi, interessante. Il prezzo del mio cartellino, inoltre, è accessibile e non credo possano esserci problemi con il mio club. Ho parlato con la mia famiglia, sono pronto a prendere la mia decisione ».
Che, inutile nasconderlo, sarà bianconera. Il campione tedesco, come detto in più di un’occasione, è vicinissimo alla Juventus. Per lui è pronto un contratto triennale da tre milioni a stagione, più del doppio di quello che guadagna in Germania. « Il fatto di non giocare la Champions League - ha detto il campione - non è un problema perché i programmi della società sono competitivi e ambiziosi. Sarà questione di poco tempo e poi la Juventus tornerà a competere con tutti i più grandi club europei. La squadra che stanno preparando i dirigenti bianconeri sarà fortissima».

Yeah you are right!He said that he would choose Juve over Real Madrid.If I'm not mistaken the article says that Real want him too. Juve is offering him a 3 year contract with 3 m € per year. Bremen want 10 m €,juve is ready to offer about 7 m €. They could find an agreement at 8 m €. He(Frings) says that playing no Champions Leauge isn't a problem because the plans of our board are ambitious. He also says that Juve is creating a strong team,he talked with his family& he's ready to make a decision.
The case with Frings seems to be very strong. A local newspaper from the area around Bremen now reports that Frings is considering offers from abroad. This newspaper is usually very reliable when it comes to Werder rumours and so far had always denied every possibility of a Frings transfer. In another German newspaper Frings is quoted like this: "They (Juve) want me really bad. They don't want me as a player, but as THE player."
Juve is one of the most hated things in Werder forums now. With the rumours about first Klose and now Frings I began to read their forum more frequently and I'm starting to lose my sympathy for Werder. Their fans are really bitching against us and insulting Italy and our club.

Frings heeft nog een contract in Bremen tot medio 2009, en afgelopen week liet technisch manager Klaus Allofs al weten dat er niet te praten valt over een vertrek van de Duitse international. De 30-jarige Frings zelf denkt daar echter anders over.
"Ze willen me heel erg graag,” aldus de voormalig speler van Bayer München op een persconferentie. “Het zou mijn laatste grote contract zijn. Alles klopt erin. Toch is het een moeilijke beslissing. Juventus wil me niet als zomaar een aanwinst maar als dé speler.”
Frings heeft de Italianen dan ook om bedenktijd gevraagd. Hij kan zijn contract bij Werder verlengen, maar lijkt te opteren voor een verblijf in het buitenland.
Juventus staat momenteel bovenaan in de Serie B, nadat de club afgelopen seizoen werd terug gezet naar aanleiding van een grootscheeps omkoopschandaal. Terugkeer naar de Serie A lijkt dan ook aanstaande, en sponsoren maakten eerder al bekend dat wanneer Juve weer op het hoogste niveau gaat acteren, er een bedrag van 100 miljoen vrij zal worden gemaakt dat geïnvesteerd mag worden in nieuwe spelers.
