They shut the mobile networks in Tehran within the time of the protests on the Student Day. Cellphone lines getting crushed has become an ominous sign for the people since the first days of the unrest. Whenever they shut the lines or slow down the internet connections, everyone expects something awful to take place. When Basij attacked Tehran University campus after the elections, all the phone lines were down. After they left the university, the injured students were not able even to make contact with the outside asking for help.

Andy; Khamaneei is in Tehran. How they come up with such stories is beyond me to be honest.
you're back :D jat khali

Anything bringing Hoori back is OK with me.

I'd even dress up like Ahmadinijhad and have her beat me with a baseball bat if that's what it took to bring her back.

    Welcome back Hoori.
It took a discussion about Iranian politics to bring her back.

    Welcome back Hoori.
    Thank you

Even if it was the deep depression coming to me watching my team's humiliation? :D

Mr. Kucinich, a TRUE Liberal, not a fake one like Obama, gets it right here.

It's all a phony war, purely for monetary/natural resource reasons.

Any goddamn idiot knows that these wars make us less safe. No doubt about it. But folks here love seeing our troops die, including Vinman.

They have a right to nuclear energy, but when you begin to produce highly enriched uranium and build clandestine nuclear facilities, civilian energy is clearly not their goal.

***I am strongly against any strike on Iran, as it would be devastating for the region. Not to mention oil prices would skyrocket as a result of a mined up Straight of Hormuz.
