Bayern have to join sooner or later, unless they are fine with becoming another Ajax.
They'll join eventually, once the pressure mounts, they will start losing their best players to super league teams and become more irrelevant on the global scale. You best believe, if this super league starts, once great clubs like bayern, who haven't signed up, will slowly become overshadowed, so they'll have no choice but to join

Guys I don't get you americans.
You're all for women equity and so on but then it's perfectly ok to use women as meat bodies to cheer..
I'd rather have the fans cheer for the team and not a bunch of girls thrown at mass of men to watch and leer....

I think it will go one if two ways. It is hard to see Bayern and PSG not joining if the Super League starts and the money in the CL drops. If they CL money stays the same they may be happy winning it every year. But I'm sure the majority top players will want to be in the top competition which will put pressure on them.

On the other hand, all it takes is a few teams to pull out of the Super League and it fails.

They're not morally superior trust me. PSG dont need the money and would have been the only ones invited... and bayern drink their league every year and their "competition" are all feeder clubs. Psg and bayern have a better situation

Listening to Perez and the rationale behind the formation of the SL.

‘These clubs have lost over a billion in the last couple of years’

These clubs are also the most poorly run, they over pay players, over pay agents, over pay on transfer fees, there not sustainable and they just dick swing to try to out do eachother.

No one made us piss 90m away on higuain and release him for free. No one made us spend 100m on Ronaldo and pay him 1m a week. No one made us spend 40m on Bernardeschi. Douglas Costa. Ramsey. Raiola’s agent fees. Renewing Khedira. Renewing mandzukic and then excluding him. Sacking Allegri. Giving Sarri a big contract and not putting in a break clause. Hiring pirlo.

This fucking club has made some disgraceful financial decisions and now that they’ve realised they are in a black hole and the money is running out they want a get out of jail free card by signing up to a stupid league that every half conscious fan would have no interest in watching. No Agnelli, that’s not how it works. You don’t get a retry, you don’t get a mulligan.
The problem with a broke league like Serie A is the smaller clubs are directly or indirectly, too dependent on the Juve's and the Inter's of this world. The moment the big teams go into a slump financially, the rest of the league crumbles as well. Lack of funds within the big teams would mean a poorer product, less appeal and ultimately leading to less TV rights money which clubs like Atalanta are benefitting off currently.
And these small teams don't step up. They're happy with their comfort zone 'safe haven' of finishing in the top 6, collect their prize money, sell their best players to the highest bidder, rinse and repeat. This is what Agnelli meant when he said the situation has been the same for 80 years.
If you are suggesting that Juve's and Inter's are creating a disparity in Serie A with the ESL then I would counter it by saying having a broke Juve or Inter would lead to an even worse product of Serie A.
Besides, the main catchment area of the big 3 is... Serie A ofcourse. That ESL money will directly go towards funding transfers from the smaller sides.

I know I may be trying to paint a positive picture but I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. I want to see what structure they have planned when they talk about the 'football pyramid' before overreacting that they're 'killing' football.

Well the Arab state owned clubs sure did hike the prices in the transfer market.
You know the ones getting preferential treatment from UEFA instead of the boot.
Then let them waste their money and over pay for mediocre players. It was our decision to jump on the bandwagon and over pay for bang average players that didn’t improve our team.

And don’t mistake my distain for the super league as support for UEFA. Who along with FIFA are one of the most disgustingly corrupt organisations on the planet
