If they don't understand finances involved then why are they opening their mouths here?
because they disagree with the move. Finances don’t factor into their disagreement. I think you’re the one being intentionally thick now.

I have no problem with them making millions. But I have a problem with them taking the high horse and talking about saving the purity of the sport bla bla, when the main reason clubs are doing this, is so they are able to continue paying them their millions. Its just so fucking hypocritical..
see my answers to Kyle. It’s not their job to figure out how the clubs afford to pay them. If the clubs can’t afford it, they can negotiate new wages or go to different clubs

Refuse to take a pay cut from your million dollar pre Covid wages to help keep clubs afloat but oh noes how dare those greedy clubs seek new means to afford to continue paying me my wage I refuse to cut.

Agreed.

Fuck the players.

You get 10 million a year from a club?

You keep your mouth fucking shut and do as you're told. Sometimes that's what being a professional means. And for that kind of money, professionalism may be expected.

KDB's Instagram post was utterly ridiculous.

I read it and the only thought in my head was: fuck you.

Players should earn more if you ask me...Football needs more agents like Raiola
The club's created their own debt situation. Put in a wage cap, make the player's pay their own agents fees etc.

Yeah, i hear clubs only pay out about 70% of their income! Wtf is that about?!
There's no faith entry system Uefa gets 70% income from competition while shares only 20 % among clubs , 10 % for next arrangement. Whereas big clubs that are the main source only gets 20 % of overall share .Uefa and Fifa are greedy to the core and are crying now because they'll finally get competition now.

Marotta: 'Salaries are 70 per cent of turnover, no club can survive'

“This initiative was carried out by the 12 club owners, in light of the difficulties of each individual club,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“Mainly linked to COVID, the costs are certain but the revenues aren’t. In light of this, it is that the national and European football model is outdated, so it was necessary to find a possibility to better exploit the resources.

“This was done in the light of a default risk football system.

“Salaries are 65 to 70 per cent of the turnover, no club can survive."
