ohh wtf is with Marchionni?????? see the official site!!!!
:wallbang: These are terrible news. He fractured methatarsal bone. It seems he will be sidelined for some time.

This is really some tough luck, just when he entered good form.

Really, really sad news. hoping for the best.

Marchionni injured

Bad news for Claudio Ranieri: Marco Marchionni is injured. The player twisted his foot on Thursday afternoon while training, due to a levelling in the ground, and later felt severe pain in the 5th metatarsal bone area. The next morning's X-rays showed that an incomplete fracture of the abovementioned bone had occurred. A tutor was applied to the player's leg and he will have to use crutches.

On his return to Italy on Tuesday, Marchionni will undergo an orthopaedic visit that will allow the medical team to plan a programme of therapies and/or surgeries as needed and to estimate how long his recovery will take.

In the meantime, Camoranesi's condition is improving. As announced a few days ago, The Italian-Argentinean player will make his return on the pitch on Saturday morning to train, following a personalized regime.
