Marco Marchionni’s agent has once again been motivated to make a statement denying that his client will be leaving Juventus this summer.

The 26-year-old winger joined Juve last season but failed to bring over his standout form from Parma, due to an injury that kept him out for much of the year.

The news that Pavel Nedved will be staying on for at least another year, rekindled rumours that Marchionni would be angling for a transfer to Fiorentina in order to link up with his former mentor Cesare Prandelli.

“Juventus have never put him on the market so Marchionni will remain a Bianconero,” insisted Bruno Carpeggiani, before declaring that he does not consider Nedved’s continued presence a problem since “they play different roles and a great side like Juve need a big squad.”

Marchionni must stay. I believe in him. He has great abilities. Juventus just needs to play more wider and more offensive.

Beppe Marotta, DS of Sampdoria, has yesterday spoken about Marchionni, objective of Fiorentina even though the arrival of Semioli has cooled it a little. ''Marchionni? a valued player who finds difficulty to play for Juventus, for this reason i am interested.''

The Juve winger has been one of the most convincing and in-form players of the Bianconeri in this early part of the training camp this summer.

Following the first friendly match of the season against Mezzocorona, Marco Marchionni had another excellent display against the Chinese Olympic team as the Old Lady defeated its opponent 4-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The many new arrivals at Juve do not seem to worry Marchionni who is ready for the tough competition awaiting him.

"It helps the group and personally does not scare me. If we train at our best, the coach is facilitated in the choices.

"I know I have many strong champions with me, but I want to have my say, like it has always been."

Marchionni has been played on the left hand side by Ranieri, rather than his usual right winger position.

"The role does not matter, but to be fine mentally and physically," commented Marchionni.

Yes it's good to hear but we do have a very big squad this year considering we're not playing CL. To big imo.
im sure Ranieri thinks that winning the Coppa Italia is also very important. So we could use more of the squad when we play those games. I'd say winning the Coppa is sort of a lifeline to get into europe incase we dont make the top 4.

its kind of unfortunate, i was hoping he would be used more often last year. i hope this season ranieri realizes his potential and give him a run more often.
dont worry,Ranieri knows his potential & I think he will start the season in the starting 11,he was a great player at Parma where he played as a RM,the place where camo playes for Juve but the thing is Ranieri knows that Neddy wont be able to play this season like before so he is preparing his replacement & also in the RMF we have already(Camo,Salhi & maybe sometimes Iaquinta) so preparing Marchio to take the LMF position is a very smart move by Ranieri & I am sure he is capable of playin anywhere!!
