Adriano set for January exit?
Thursday 19 October, 2006

Reports in Italy are suggesting that Inter hitman Adriano could move to Real Madrid in a swap deal with former Nerazzurri favourite Ronaldo.

The Brazil international is struggling for form and has not scored for the San Siro outfit since March.

His position is now even more critical as Julio Cruz and Alvaro Recoba have recovered from injury, with both playing well in the Champions League win over Spartak Moscow.

The Coach could decide to field Adri only in the Coppa Italia and in case of an emergency, if the other four forwards available were to suffer injuries or bans.

Hernan Crespo has proven to be Inter’s best man upfront thus far, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic is considered untouchable by Mancini.

The former Parma striker may therefore leave the Via Durini outfit as early as January and rumours are gathering pace that he could be included in a swap deal with Real Madrid star Ronaldo.

This was already allegedly discussed in the summer, but negotiations failed on the last day of the transfer market in August.

If Ronnie were to reject a return to the San Siro, Adriano could reconsider the option offered by Manchester United.

The Red Devils expressed their interest in the Brazilian in the summer, despite his dismal season with Inter and his unimpressive matches in the World Cup, but at the time the Premiership club’s offer was considered too low by Nerazzurri officials.
Maybe Adriano is fed up of being followed & phone tapped.:D I'm surprised they took Ibra. If they do not like players partying, why buy someone who got a 2 match ban for his NT for staying out to 00.50am

Look at the convincing reason Moratti gives for not giving the presidency to anybody else:

Moratti regaining Inter presidency

MILAN, Italy -- Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti is to return to his role as president of the club, replacing the late Giacinto Facchetti.

"I will return to being president," Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport's Web site on Friday, "Largely because there is no alternative, my son Mao (Angelo Mario) would prefer to avoid the job."

And why is his son called Mao??

* Is his son is a secret Juventino or just plain lazy?.
* If the answer to the above is the latter, then the reason why moratti calls him mao is obvious (initials for _______________).

In a surprise move, Inter have announced they’re putting Adriano on indefinite leave so that he can have “complete rest.”

The Brazilian has been struggling badly for form and hasn’t scored an official goal for his club since March.

“The club, in accordance with the Coach and technical staff, has decided to give Adriano a few days of complete rest,” read a statement on the Inter website.

“Starting from the Udinese match this weekend, he will not be at the disposal of Roberto Mancini.

“Adriano will undergo a personalised training programme to recover physically and psychologically, the terms of which will be decided over the next few days.”

He was dropped for the midweek 2-1 victory over Spartak Moscow in the Champions League, coming on as a substitute.

With Julio Ricardo Cruz, Alvaro Recoba and Hernan Crespo now back to full fitness, it’s believed the time has come to let Adriano leave and recuperate without the extra pressure of a match situation every three days.

Others consider this a prelude to a January transfer, as L’Imperatore is visibly unhappy at the San Siro and could no longer be considered indispensable for the side.

So, moratti has had him followed & phone tapped. What are they going to do with him during the "personalised training programme to recover physically and psychologically, the terms of which will be decided over the next few days.” Force him to sign a mandate stating that he will not tell anyone that moratti is still using illegal phone taps & anything else that may be incriminating???

Oh, ibra you're days are numbered.....

MWHahahahahaha!
