Serie A is a joke. There are no solid top teams this year. They will all finnish within a 15 point margin, except Reggina.
No really, Inter got saved by the ref today, Catania shoulda had a penalty when they were up 1-0 and Inter got a penalty that was in the same category as Vieira's penalty last year when Juventus had 1-1 at home vs Parma. That time Del Piero missed, this time Cruz missed. It was obvious though, the ref was on a mission, and Inter managed to win it. But I have no worries, they won't win shit.
totally agree

wancini: inter conceded the goal due to the sunlight interfered the vision of goalkeeper, and it would be injustice for inter not winning this game because they created many good chances to score:rofl:

Apparently good old Zlatan spat towards Sottil. 3-4 game ban?

Sottil after the game said that after constant whining and crying Inter finally got a pk. Also, during the game he went to Mancini and made a crying gesture towards him. :D

thats exactly 200 days! Zlatan should get banned for about 3 games as Mark said.
The presenter on controcampo asked a question to one of his guests if this year was going to be Inter's year and he replied if it isnt they can forget about winning it in the future! as Juve aren't in it and the best teams are all punished and he asked if there was an excuse for Inter to come up with if they lose and another guest said taht they can say cause Palermo and Roma started on level points with them!

Roberto Mancini: “We had a pretty good start, but conceded a very strange goal, as Julio Cesar and the defence were confused by the sun in their eyes and didn’t see the ball. Catania defended well and tried to hit us on the break, although we improved in the second half. Now we must enjoy this victory, even if we have to stop conceding so many goals.”

If mancini keeps spouting out rubbish like this, he will have to watch out for men in white coats - coming to take him away (to the nearest funny farm)!

i just came across an article on goal.com speaking about how great morrati is and thought u would like to read this its really sad to be an interesta:

From 1989-95 Inter fans were in a state of depression. Their neighbourhood foes, AC Milan, were on a roll and well financed by Berlusconi and Juventus were influenced by the powerful Agnelli family as Inter were in a limbo. However, a saviour stepped up to the plate for Inter: Massimo Moratti. He was the son of Angelo Moratti and under his tenure Inter won many awards.

Inter fans saw this as a great omen and the good old days were coming to the curva nord again. Moratti was as mentioned before, an oil barron. He has the money and influence to buy players, coaches and with that, the possibility to make Inter great again. Songs of praise sprung forth and Inter fans were happy again. They had an owner who had a vision, plan and the there M’s (men, money and materials) to make the dream into a reality. All of a sudden it was good to be an Inter fan again. So it seemed.

Players did arrive and he did use heavy handed tactics plus breaking the transfer fee record to bring Ronaldo from Barcelona to Inter. He did this twice. The other being: Christian Vieri. This duo could have been a deadly combination, but it never occurred. Inter spent and did everything in their power to bring the Holy Grail home to no avail.

Flop after flop occurred and it seemed that the only thing an Inter fan got was heartache. Massimo quit then came back then quit and came back and finally relinquishing his post to Facchetti. In 2006, after many years of disappointments he was willing to sell Inter, but really, who could buy such a team. The asking price was so high. In the end he stayed and this summer he got his just reward: a Scudetto.

Moratti is viewed by many to be a cordial, sincere man who cared for Inter greatly as a fan not as a businessman. However, he has a mean side. He fires coaches like there is no tomorrow and he vented his anger publicly when Inter lost to Milan 6-0. All of the first team had to go to his flat to apologize. I do not think it did any good. Not that they won after or they were docked pay. I will mention one good thing about the Inter organization. They pay on time. However, he is not such a failure. Where is Cragnotti, Tanzi? Inter are still a squad with healthy finances.

Mascara better than Caneira
Julio Cesar worse than Toldo
Inter the worst in the world.

The other side of the glass I guess, eh? This is exactly what all the anti-Juve said whenever Juventus got involved in a controversial decision. You're not suggesting Inter are cheating, are you?

Catania defender Andrea Sottil has hit out at Inter’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic after their bust-up during Sunday’s match at the San Siro. “He acts like a kindergarten child.”

The two players argued repeatedly during the match, which was won 2-1 by the Nerazzurri, and footage aired on Italian television on Sunday evening also showed the Swede spitting in Sottil’s direction – an act which may cost him a ban.

“Ibrahimovic acted childishly. At the end of the match I went over to Julio Cruz to tell him that Ibra is not a fair player and guess what – he agreed with me,” said Sottil.

“As to the spit, I admit I didn’t realise he did that. I can only confirm that this behaviour is typical of kindergarten children.

“After Dejan Stankovic’s goal, Ibra turned toward me and did an impolite gesture with his hand and then started to laugh at me.

“I am 32-years-old and I won’t let anyone make fun of me. Ibrahimovic is really an unpleasant person, a professional at his level shouldn’t act that way.

“I also complained with Lele Oriali on the bench, he told Ibra to calm down but it was useless,” concluded the Catania man.

If the footage confirms the Swede’s act, he may be slapped with a three-match ban, although a different camera angle may prove that the spit was aimed at the ground.

Ibrahimovic will also be forced to watch Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow from the stands, as he serves the ban handed out after he was dismissed during the previous match with Bayern Munich.
