just saw the highlights of the game because i missed the live match...Ajax dominated the whole match while we had nothing going on...

if Ajax play like they did when they come to Turin and Juve plays like crap...doesn't like good for Juve
It will be like hosting Bayern Munich all over again.

The reason we didn´t play well is that Sisoko played the worse game since he is in Juventus, he could not get tha ball. And he is a key player in our team. Diego was not great either.
That's not the only reason we didn't play well. Sissoko would not have helped us in possession and creating chances because he gives the ball away 50% of the time anyway. The problem with yesterday's match was that they had a stranglehold over us on the flanks, which was predictable because of their formation and the fact they're Ajax, and Zach did little to address that. Sissoko wouldn't have done much to aid us on the flanks because he had a difficult enough time in the middle.

The Ajax CM Eyong Enoh looked great and beat Sissoko numerous times. He could probably teach him a thing or two about passing the ball as well because Sissoko is one of the worst CM's I've seen in that area -- possibly even worse than Manuele Blasi when it comes to passing the ball.

when sissoko is on form, he can do brilliant things, his tackles his runs forward, he even puts a pass or two together.

when he is off form its very evident, he is still one of the best at what he does and still young.

In general when under pressure he tends to make lots of mistakes. He's passes are pretty poor no point in denying that. Its only when he's giving time on the ball against serie A teams that he does push forward and helps the attack. He's great defensively and covers lots of ground but he's a pretty limited player.

Right now I think we should try the 4-3-1-2 since Alex is doing well, Amauri is scoring and improving his interplay game. Also having marchi, sissoko, and melo back makes a bigger statement to try that system.

Buffon: 'Zac changed Juve'
Saturday 20 February, 2010
Gianluigi Buffon believes Juventus have truly turned a corner under Alberto Zaccheroni. “Something has changed.”
The Bianconeri were in dire straits when the Coach replaced Ciro Ferrara, but so far he has amassed two draws and two consecutive victories.

“The statistics tell us that something has changed. I saw it over the last few days in a very positive and constructive attitude from the team,” said Buffon.

Perhaps an even more reassuring fact is that in the last two games Juve have fought back to grab points against Genoa and Ajax.

“It is only normal that there was a reaction in the locker room with a change of management.

“Zaccheroni is giving us tactical organisation and some important tips, but if you don’t believe in yourself, then you’ll get nowhere,” continued the goalkeeper.

“Amauri hasn’t been this happy in a long time, he just needed the right ball on his head to break the drought.”

The Brazilian striker hadn’t netted since October 28 before bagging three in the last two matches.

Alberto Zaccheroni sees Juventus right back in the thick of the Serie A action, but warns “Bologna are in great shape.”

The Bianconeri are unbeaten since Zac took charge and are fresh from two consecutive victories over Genoa and Ajax. You can watch them face Bologna LIVE on ESPN.

“Since I arrived we have always had to face teams who are on fine form. Aside from Lazio, who were going through a tough time, we met Livorno, Genoa and Ajax.

“Now Bologna are in great shape, having drawn with Verona and Milan, while they won away to Fiorentina and Livorno.

“Franco Colomba has done very well to understand the squad at his disposal and make the most of them.”

Juventus are now in sixth place, but only a point off Napoli and Sampdoria in joint fourth.

“Over the past three weeks we have got a bit more breathing space and are back in the group fighting for prestigious positions.

“However, the competition is fierce and we cannot afford to relax. The fixture list is also tough, as we have most of the top games away from home. At least it’ll show us if we’re mature enough to play the same way at home and on our travels.

“I have always been optimistic, as I know I have a solid squad at my disposal. You could see in Amsterdam that my players are united and agree with my philosophy of football.

“I don’t have time to build the team I have in mind, as at the moment just winning is enough. In the next few weeks I’d like to see more players at my disposal.”

Fabio Cannavaro has recovered from sciatica, while David Trezeguet and Mauro Camoranesi are fit for the bench.

Jose Mourinho repeatedly criticised Juventus for receiving a controversial penalty against Genoa, but Zaccheroni had no time for the Inter boss.

“I have so many problems to think about, I really can’t be bothered to get distracted by such matters.”

His confidence seems high, Good.

(I don't know why I'm doing this) He quoted Salvatore's post, not yours. And its pretty clear what he meant. For all I care, you are the one looking stupid here. I mean, its really simple.

If you still don't get it, here let me break it down for you.

Salvatore said:
:disagree: Diego is obviously drugged up, he didn't even mention winning the championship. I can't take him seriously.

To which JBF replied:
Actually he did that in a statement before the game :eyebrows:

Looked at the bolded bits. By that JBF meant the he didn't even mention winning the championship part of Salvatore's comment. How did you infer that he was referring to the interview you posted is beyond me.

(I still don't know why I did this)

And JBF, Diego didn't mention winning the championship, he said about winning the game against Ajax.

The End.
