That's not the only reason we didn't play well. Sissoko would not have helped us in possession and creating chances because he gives the ball away 50% of the time anyway. The problem with yesterday's match was that they had a stranglehold over us on the flanks, which was predictable because of their formation and the fact they're Ajax, and Zach did little to address that. Sissoko wouldn't have done much to aid us on the flanks because he had a difficult enough time in the middle.
The Ajax CM Eyong Enoh looked great and beat Sissoko numerous times. He could probably teach him a thing or two about passing the ball as well because Sissoko is one of the worst CM's I've seen in that area -- possibly even worse than Manuele Blasi when it comes to passing the ball.

In general when under pressure he tends to make lots of mistakes. He's passes are pretty poor no point in denying that. Its only when he's giving time on the ball against serie A teams that he does push forward and helps the attack. He's great defensively and covers lots of ground but he's a pretty limited player.
