His size
Originally, I thought that Camalleri was a player that Montreal and Vancouver (and others) should take a run at...

At this point though, he probably doesn't make a lot of sense in Montreal. Seriously though, it could be worse than Camalleri... if I was a Canadians fan, I'd certainly prefer him to Gionta.

I'm also not convinced about Havlat, simply because of his chronic injury issues. He's looking for long term... it's risky, which is why Chicago went in another direction.

As long as Havlat stays off the same ice a Kronwall he should be ok.

Nice... Boston resigned Bitz. He's young, a brute force, pretty good hands... had a nice rookie debut. Don't know the terms, but this is a nice move provided it's reasonable.

30M over 5 years... wow. That seems very high. Camalleri is getting paid...

Yeah, TSN is destroying you guys (I haven't seen their reaction to Camalleri).

Wow. Maybe it's a tad high (I obviously am biased, and underrated him a bit when I said 3.5... I thought someone would come back with 4), but considering what your team has already spent on some players... wow.

That would have been a manageable deal. He must not want to stay in Montreal... If Gainey offered Spacek 3.83M, and is overpaying everyone in sight, he must have made a similar offer to what Komisarek accepted.

At least Lucic will still get to pound him Komisarek into the ice on a regular basis.

I'm at a loss for words here. Let me get this straight. Toronto paid a million dollars more per year than what Montreal paid for Jaroslav Spacek.

I just, I just don't know where to begin with this clusterfuck

Guys, Cammalleri isn't a bad player, he's a very good sniper and doesn't get pushed around despite his small height. If you compare him to Havlat, he has more consistent numbers and at least you don't have to worry reoccurring injury problems.

I think the only reason you're not warm and fuzzy about him is because he's a Michigan grad. ;)

Plus he has balls, as seen here.

    I like him. He's Italien. :D

He's a good player and versatile. We'll play him on the left so he bring more than Tanguay. If we want to look at the bright side. Cammalleri is better than Tanguay and Gomez is better than Koivu atm.

The thing about Gomez is that he needs to see a lot of the puck to get things done. He's a pretty good passer but yeah, for that salary you could get a lot better.
