Well, I will say this.

Bob Gainey certainly changed the culture of the team in one day.

They need another defensemen though, and find a way to re-sign Kovalev.


If they somehow re-sign Kovalev, these are what the lines could look like

I'm trying to forget, although being where I am from it is almost impossible, that this team last year was an 8th seed who got owned by Boston in the regular season and playoffs.

Laraque won't play every game. Sergei or another player if we trade that trouble maker could replace him once in a while when we don't face Boston or Toronto. I put Pacioretty on the 1st line because I want at least one big body on each line. Mr. X will be important. Beauchemin, Scuderi, maybe Seidenberg, maybe Boynton(not sure how he's doing now) or another player acquired in a trade.
