Some of the analysts on ESPN. The contracts are similar in that they are front heavy in order to cheat the cap. So was Hossa's last year. But neither of them have contracts paying them until they're 44.

In the NHL they have a salary cap. By making the contract so long, they can sort of cheat the cap. Most of the money would have been paid in the first 10 years, with Kovy making less than 500k the last 7 years.
