Torino and the club Juventus are a much better enviroment for one such as he.
He could have found he's place of destiny here. Carlo and those that followed would have looked after him.
I don't really think so.

He was like second Totti out there...loved and everything.Totti's parents were like his while Totti was like his brother. After a few years he screwed everything and it was just his fault. It's not like I'm Romanista but Roma didn't deserve that from.Especially Totti...he had a fight with many players too.

Where he was about to leave he didn't even say bye to a team that has done many things for him and screw that attitude.

Rome was not a city for him. Nor Roma.

His behaviour reached a record low when Capello left Rome and it was because he wanted to follow him to Juve. Being a menace is not a problem, it's something I like in some football players, Cantona for example.

The hugs and banter he was giving to Buffon before yesterdays match was something I've never seen an oppsition player do before perhaps he knows something we don't,I can only hope yesterday he was magical in EURO 2008 for Italy he was magical,he is and always will be a magical player.I agree with Bianconero we should sign him in the summer.

so it is true, we finally want Cassano. like everyone else here i am spellbound by his vision, skill and ability, however,i fear that his attitude will always be his downfall. will he accept a place on the bench, being rotated or will that simply be the spur for him to act like a crazy idiot once again?

Cassano the footballer? oh yes please, change formation to fit him in, roll out the welcome mat and celebrate a genius at work

Cassano the person? oh dear god no!

true but even the most arrogant of players rarely cause as much trouble as cassano has in his careers so far. nornally it is opposition players who get wound up and hate certain players, but when you have a disruptive force in the dressing room it is only a matter of time before it starts to cause serious problems for "the team"

if we could guarantee that Cassano would be more humble, less disruptive and more focussed then i would accept him with open arms but we ahve a very good squad of players, humble players who have worked hard to reach the top level(ok so maybe some have worked hard to reach average) cassano may cause us major problems if his head is not straight

put it this way, in your job you work hard, put in lots of hours and take on extra projects, when you get your yearly revue you are overlooked for promotion by a lazy, work shy, loudmouth. would you be happy to have him on your team?

I think Cassano's an excellent footballer in the right environment, something which I think Juventus is. Doesn't strike me as a priority, though.

    Amauri
    DP (Gio) - Cassano
Marchisio - Sissoko - Camo (Tiago)

Very good, especially with at least one proper fullback providing more width.

Don't you think we need some youth in the team: if we once again rely on DP and Camo, let's not even consider Nedved, we'll take even greater steps backward next season.

Do you really think Camo can produce the goods week on week out without injury.

DO should be used like Giggs is at united, sparingly, wisely and effectively.

Been a fan of cassano ever since he's days with Bari. definately talented but a mental case.

This move would've been smart if we did move for him when he left madrid (he was sold for around 5 million which was a bargain). But right now sampdoria's president mentioned that he wants 20 mil for him. If he turned out to be a disastor for us with he's attitude (very likely) then we won't find anyone to buy him even for half that price.

Few years ago getting him was a smart gamble, right now its a huge risk.....
