You're right, Monkfish, making a decision on the matter will require some serious hardcore Football Manager gaming to research the issue thoroughly and examine all the angles and possible implications :D
If you can get through a whole season with this forward line and none of them become unhappy...then I think you are worthy of managing a 'real' football team!:D

Cassano or Gilardino are both excellent additions, so whoever comes is good enough for me...as long as one of them does come!
they are both great but mutu is better IMO..
I hope that Mutu will stay.. I belive he can make great things for juve...

I wonder where Zlatan fits into all this though. Zlatan's no goalgetter and neither is Cassano. I wonder who IS our goalgetter. Trezeguet's not what he used to be, Zalayeta will never be a starter and Mutu and Del Piero will probably be used in midfield. Cassano would be a nice buy, but would we be efficient enough upfront?

Trezeguet not what he used to?? In Serie A he scored 9 goals from 18 matches, including fundamental goals against Real and Milan. We saw how well we did against Liverpool when we needed to score and he wasn't around. He's still very important and valuable for the team.

Well done. I can hardly think of a better goal getter than Trez.
Mutu will not be playing for us next season- midfield, are we that desperate?

He might be when he's around. You can't count on a player that's only able to play half the time. Btw, scoring against Real hardly means you made a goal in Serie A :).

If we get Cassano then surely either DP or Mutu will go, if we get Gila then Trez will be the one out the door.

I would like to see either Cassano or Gila come, but they aren't really needed, and I don't really want to see one of the others leave....it's a tricky one!

I don't think we need to make any changes up front over the summer, there is no reason to do so. We did not have a problem last season putting the ball in the net when we had chances to work with, and the obvious problem lies in the midfield. That is where we should focus, and I suspect Moggi shares this same opinion. Any changes up top would be seemingly superfluous.

His goals are always important. I can't imagine us scoring against Real Madrid if it weren't for him. He's definitely more improtant in front of goal than DP is ;)

Nonda To Roma? Question Of Hours
    6/10/2005 6:41:00 PM
Former Monaco striker Shabani Nonda is currently in Rome where he has already undergone his medical for the Giallorossi, according to 'Il Romanista.it'.
He is now involved in his final contract talks, and is set to be officially announced as a Roma player later today.

Nonda was supposed to join Juventus last week, but the deal was scrapped after he apparently failed his medical.

Now his 'failed medical' looks more to have been a cover as Roma and Juve were working out the final terms of an incredible deal bringing the Congolese forward to Rome and Antonio Cassano to Turin.:D:D:D:D
