gazzetta.it says that the deal would be 16m € +the LOAN of Mutu so when DP leaves we'll bring back Mutu. :D

Great deal if it happens.

Mutu would have played a full year after his ban and be at full form for Juve for the 2006-07 season. :D

As good as the deal sounds, why not just leave the line up the way it is right now? Wait for the one year, and bring Cassano in free?

Cassano free? not gonna happen. IMO

I wouldn't want to see the Roma fans at the Olimpico. They would kill Cassano before letting him go to Juve for free.

he is very good, but rosiscky is more likely to come, mainly due to the fact that Dortmund is in a fianicial crisis and he hasnt had an amazing season, thus his transfer worth will be low.

I guess if Roma are getting cash for him, they'd direct him to us. If not, then i think we'd be taking a risk, where hed either re-sign with Roma or walk in to Juve or anywhere else on a free. As risk based the strategy maybe, i think we dont really have much to lose from the deal since Mutu is already here, thats the point im making. Bu tconsidering he's got a good decade ahead of him, the 16 mil and one year loan of Mutu seems like the next best thing to him coming on a free.

Hey,
tell me something just if we get Cassano, what i reaaly wnat to see happening, who will play?

As long as we know Capello,he loves Zlatan and Cassano,so both will play,
ok Zala make the bench,ok Mutu leaves.

BUt what with Trez that they say he is staying?and Del piero?do you really believe he will leave this summer?

Del piero and Trez on Bench--->trouble....

If we play Trio in attack and rotate the team it's good but i doubt we'll play
3-4-3.

Opinions?

Roma would be silly to accept such an offer. Cassano is worth a lot more than 16m and Mutu on loan.

It does seem as if Antonio is going to be wearing black and white next season though and if that is indeed the case I don't see both Del Piero and Trezeguet staying. This season will definitely decide whether DP goes to Germany 2006 or not so he's going to want to play regularly, something he may not be able to do with Cassano and Ibrahimovic in the team. Trezeguet isn't going to be satisfied with a place on the bench either...

He doesn't neccesarly have to sit on the bench if Capello does what I think he might: play a 4-3-3. I have this vision that Cassano will be deployed on the left flank by Capello, or perhaps supporting Zlatan and Trezeguet. In 1995 Capello fielded a team featuring Baggio, Weah, and Savicevic up top in a 4-3-3 system. Behind those three he fielded two defensive middies in Albertini and Desailly with Boban on the right flank. I have this feeling Capello will use these same tactics with the arsenal of attackers we will have, so Trezeguet might not be sitting on the bench.

Roma are silly  , + it's better than going for free in 2006.

3 - 4 - 3, hmmm... we need a new GOOD defender then. Who? Barzagli? Chivu? Tudor/Kovac? lets give it a try.

-------Cassano---Trezeguet---Zlatan
Zambrotta---Nedved---Emerson---Camoranesi
------TheNewGuy--Canna--Thuram
---------------------Superman
