I banned Alen. People disagree.

This is what happened in Mod Land:

I stated why I did what I did and asked for input because if so many people are upset then maybe I am wrong (could be, I'm not perfect).
Greg happens to agree, Red feels one way, Jay feels another, Kate feels another, Tahir another, and so on.
Through our debating we've come up with a few options.
I've set up a poll and we will vote. Whatever the majority decides will be. So know. I'm not digging my heels in. I'm just waiting.

Anyways easy fix, no one has to go in denail about anything and no one has to look bad. Aaron was bored and banned Alen which obviously is mistake going by the forum laws timeline, unban him n warn him about doing it again. Problem solved.

since you and greg are the only ones that agree, i think the next logical step would be to unban Alen. no need for polls.

So let me get this straight. You would rather see a very competent mod -- a mod of the year, mind you -- who has no reputation for being "ban happy" to sit idly by on his hands for 24-48 hours after someone performs what he deems as inappropriate behavior, allowing said behavior to continue for at least 24-48 hours while all the mods in the different time zones around the world have a chance to chime in.
