The majority of the deputees were pro-Hariri. This means that Michel Aoun can only dream of sitting on the chair. What has happened now, I guess the majority are on the Hezballa/Tayyar side giving him all the chances to become the next president. Plus his announcement the past years that he doesn't want the presidency (bikill tawado3....ahhleeeeeeeen) and then running for presidency is the icing on the cake. Ayre bmanzaro b ayre.

I said this few weeks back. He is playing the game by the rules. He wants the presidency that's why he is on Hizbollah's side. Jack, he is not any different than the politicians out there. It was easier for him to take Hizbolah side, on the other side, he has a lot of competitors. He will turn his back to Hizbollah once he is the president, don't be surprised if that happens.

God, how we keep going round in circles...I've heard it from more than one person that there were some sects cheering on the 2006 bombings of the South and Dahiya. While on the other hand, as we saw on TV - Chrisitians and Druze accepting the Shi'as into their homes. Ma khtalafna 3a hal no2ta. Just reinforcing my point is that you have wise people and idiots from both sides.

Tell me, during the funeral, what's up with the curses to Shi'a and Ali etc.? Same as during Pierre Gemayel.

Oh and another thing, as I mentioned in an earlier post- Why is there always such a huge consequent action taken by the government after a March14 murder? Like the new one now where UNIFIL troops will be spread across the entire Syrian-Lebanese borders.

I'm not saying I loove syria or anything, but we need to have NORMAL relations with them. Do you know, if Syria cut our borders how f*cked we'd get? All the transportation routes would be closed off. It happened before a couple years back and it was a disaster.

When people insult or bash Hezbollah or Hassan Nasrallah, not because they think he's behind the explosions. but because of his relationship with the syrian regime.

Having a relation with syrian regime whom are doing nothing but terrorists acts in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq is an OK thing...why? because they're financed by them. very nice.

About having normal relations with syria? who said we shouldnt? I've been saying that long time ago and all 14march leaders do want that. We SHOULD have a normal relationship with syria, syrian people have nothing to do with this, but I'm not sure having a relationship with the current regime is such a good idea.

I didn't say that a parliament member is innocent or not. But he DID know that his life is in danger in the same day he chose politics. On the contrary, if you're a football player, you don't expect to be killed in a bombing.
