Rab, you really upset me with this video. It is sad to see the Syrian ways being spread in Lebanon and to see how they are manipulating parties who don't care about the country but only care about personal issues (Nasralla to have weapons and stay in control of the South and Aoun to become a president)

Did anyone notice any pattern here?

The majority of the deputees were pro-Hariri. This means that Michel Aoun can only dream of sitting on the chair. What has happened now, I guess the majority are on the Hezballa/Tayyar side giving him all the chances to become the next president. Plus his announcement the past years that he doesn't want the presidency (bikill tawado3....ahhleeeeeeeen) and then running for presidency is the icing on the cake. Ayre bmanzaro b ayre.
I said this few weeks back. He is playing the game by the rules. He wants the presidency that's why he is on Hizbollah's side. Jack, he is not any different than the politicians out there. It was easier for him to take Hizbolah side, on the other side, he has a lot of competitors. He will turn his back to Hizbollah once he is the president, don't be surprised if that happens.

Snoop, the thing is that not even Hezbollah will want him as the president. They have good view when it comes to politics, it's all media bla bla but inside Hassan Nasrallah he doesnt want Michel Aoun who insulted Hezbollah when he was still in Paris to become a president.

I don't care what he does, he should go back to France and eat snails. It was fun watching him screaming on the TV screens; the moment he stepped in the country trouble came back.

As for his alliance with Hezballa it is not a matter of choice, they are both using each other's popularity and evil ways to control the country, I only hope they fail.

that would be a big finger in the ass if happens :D

But I do believe he is good to be president, and just playing the game at the moment. But that's just my opinion, am sure you guys know him better.

Rhizoid, you might want to watch this, really class

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPc0XelgQVM
I saw it. NBN apologised and fired her ass outta there.

Notice the anti-Shi3a comments below. Everybody fuckin hates us. When the bombs were raining down on the Shi3a in Summer 2006, the Druze were screaming "Gooooaaaalll" the Christians were opening bottles of Champagne.

So don't preach to me how fucking "class" us Shi3a are or are not.

We're just as Lebanese as everyone else, and yes we have wise people and we have idiots who distribute sweets and celebrate when a March14 member gets killed. Bottom Line: You have foolish people from all sects.

I'm sick of this anti-Shi'a bullshit, after all the two Nejmeh players that died in the blast were both Shi'a...but no wait...they don't count do they? :disagree:

I'm not justifying anything, but when a man like Walid Eido comes and says, "I'll sell my blood for arms against Hezballah in order to destroy them" well of course the Shi'a aren't gonna be so happy now, are they?

Let me tell you something - why the hell is Aoun supposed to be anti-Syrian now? His agenda is simple: They're out of my country, now let's normalise relations with our neighbors and see how we can negotiate. Not after they're out, we keep on cursing them sucking up to the USA to change the leadership in Syria.

Change the leadership in Syria....wallah even more Fateh Islams and Al-Qaeda's will begin to mushroom......God Bless American foreign policy, eh?

From where do you bring all these news from???

When the war started many of friends went to the mountain were they all support Walid J. and they told me they were more than friendly and they were very welcomed.

I was also hosted in some christian places, and they were very kind. Stop spreading false shits. please.

What is not normal like Bassem Sabe3 said last night is to put fireworks when Gebran Tueni passed away same with Pierre and also now with Waleed. THATS WHAT I CALL NOT NORMAL.

and just for the record Bassem is just like us Shi3ii who represents some parts of Dahie and was ashamed, don't know if you watched on Al-Arabiiya.

Sunni people in Lebanon have a REASON to criticize Hezbollah supporters, have a reason to dislike them. If I was a Sunni I would have felt the same way.

WHEN SUNNI PARLIAMENT MEMBERS ARE DYING AND SHIITES HEZBOLLAH ARE CELEBRATING, THATS WHAT CAUSE A CONFLICT BETWEEN SUNNI AND SHIIAA.

I'm not here to defend the Sunni, but am not like some people who cant take my glasses of just because I'm shi3ii. It's disgusting what they have been doing.

Tell that to Hezbollah supporters, and I was there when they served sweets when Gebran died. I felt awful and ashamed.

I wouldn't sell my blood, I'd sell my kidney to see Lebanese Army stronger than any other militia in Lebanon.

R.I.P the two Nejmeh players. Too bad to see innocents killed in a political assassination.
As If Waleed and his son aren't innocents. very nice.

Anyway, like Bassem said last night on Al Arabiyya, too bad palestinians themselves can't see what syrian role is being played there, from destroying the palestinian image into playing a role that is taking place right now between Fath and Hamas.

Too bad Palestinians they don't know that 80% of their problems in Lebanon is thanks to syria.

Let me see what a Syrian-Hezbollah-Iranian connection will do to Palestine. I pitty all those who really think Iranian or Hezbollah can free their land. Because I actually believe they're the only ones that can free their land.

Sadly most palestinians keep praising syria and the likes of hezbollah and disliking people like Rafik who always praised the palestinians and was working his best to make them return into their homelands. while we all know how the majority of the shiiaa in Lebanon feels towards palestinians.

btw, i'm really sad to see these things going on between Fateh and Hamas. I hope it can end as soon as possible.

God, how we keep going round in circles...I've heard it from more than one person that there were some sects cheering on the 2006 bombings of the South and Dahiya. While on the other hand, as we saw on TV - Chrisitians and Druze accepting the Shi'as into their homes. Ma khtalafna 3a hal no2ta. Just reinforcing my point is that you have wise people and idiots from both sides.

Tell me, during the funeral, what's up with the curses to Shi'a and Ali etc.? Same as during Pierre Gemayel.

WTF do they have to do with it? Why the hell would Nasrallah and co. be hypocrites, preaching national unity while killing off March14 members? I mean really, they can't be that stupid. Syria can piss on Hezballah whenever they want. This is clearly Syria's motive using Fateh Islam as a tool.

Oh and another thing, as I mentioned in an earlier post- Why is there always such a huge consequent action taken by the government after a March14 murder? Like the new one now where UNIFIL troops will be spread across the entire Syrian-Lebanese borders.

I'm not saying I loove syria or anything, but we need to have NORMAL relations with them. Do you know, if Syria cut our borders how f*cked we'd get? All the transportation routes would be closed off. It happened before a couple years back and it was a disaster.

Let me ask you one thing.

In Lebanon before Hariri got assasinated, was there something called Sunni Shii3a? The answer is simply no.

How did this Sunni Shii3a conflict started? I'll tell you, and I'm being very objective and logic.
"Imagine someone kills one of your famil members (nshalla ma betsiir akid), someone you really love and you were attached to him, and then someone else from this family THANKING and praising the person who killed the one you love" how would you feel???

"Same with Rafik Hariri, when he got assasinated, Hassan Nasrallah decided to make 8th of march, to thank syria and to praise them and to salut the ONE who killed Rafik Hariri" really how obvious things can be? but some people they really ignore the reality.

To reply back to your post.

When people insult or bash Hezbollah or Hassan Nasrallah, not because they think he's behind the explosions. but because of his relationship with the syrian regime.

Having a relation with syrian regime whom are doing nothing but terrorists acts in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq is an OK thing...why? because they're financed by them. very nice.

About having normal relations with syria? who said we shouldnt? I've been saying that long time ago and all 14march leaders do want that. We SHOULD have a normal relationship with syria, syrian people have nothing to do with this, but I'm not sure having a relationship with the current regime is such a good idea.

Embassies should take place between two countries, just like any other countries in the world.

I didn't say that a parliament member is innocent or not. But he DID know that his life is in danger in the same day he chose politics. On the contrary, if you're a football player, you don't expect to be killed in a bombing.

    That's it.

I learned from the years I lived there and from my friends and relatives that lived their whole life there I can honestly tell you that Sunni Shi3a or Muslim Christian hate was there from the beginning, way before Hariri was even born. But Rafik was a wise man, he was against that all. He even was a great friend and admirer of Hassan Nasrallah. But the case is different now, everyone is acting like fools, both sides are guilty, instead of sitting around a table and discuss with honesty, they put more fuel on the fire, they are not aware where the country is going :disagree:

Maybe a very small amount of people were disliking and fanatics when it comes to Sunni Shiiaa before Hariri got assasinated, but surely there was no talking or no hating between the sects like it is now.

Rafik Hariri did his best to let people forget these things and not to be fanatics because we're all for one living in one country, he focused more on sports things, economical things etc. People were forgetting all these.

But thanks to syrian puppets in Lebanon it's back.

About sitting on one table, Saad Hariri every single day he shows up on tv asking Hassan Nasrallah to sit down together, he's been waiting almost 1month now, but no answer from Nasrallah.

What a way to take things COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTEXT!!!!!!

You are indeed referring to "Shoukran li Souriya Shoukran li Souriya..." on 8th of March.

Bloody hell, he's not THANKING Syria for the murder, in that context he is THANKING Syria for the support of the Islamic resistance during the occupation in the south.

Nasrallah has no problems with Sunni's and he said this more than once!! :disagree:

Well, that pretty much sums it up. Mind you, I'm not that happy with the way Hezb are doing (or not doing) things.

By the way aren't they ALL meeting in with Sarkozy in Paris later this month or in July?

And Nasrallah, before the December "invasion" of Downtown Beirut, used to always call for Saad and March14 to meet, and they never answered either...

I really don't care for what he thanked him. Point is......he thanked a terrorist serial killer.

FFS, Hassan Nasrallah is a religious person goddamit, I thought religious people dont do these kind of things, thank killers and praise them.

No Lebanese will ever forget how he thanked bashar, it was soo low, soo low that it felt disgusting really.
