Syria's regime(Assad) is in real danger. 2007 might be the end of Bashar Assad like It was for Saddam.
International Trial for Hariri's death is getting close, Bashar will not be called up immediatly, but his men who were in-charge in Lebanon will be investigated, and as far as I know, If one of his men admit that they took the order from their president to assasinate Rafik Hariri, then there's a reason to call that terrorist.
However, there's lot of chances that his men(Secret Service) who were in charge in Beirut will be killed before the International Trial starts. Thats how Assad's regime works, he'll kill them before they admit that he gave them the order. Thats what I predict.
Anyway, there are many other reasons that makes me feel that this regime will collapse soon....
1- Running behind Israel for negotiations....What he's doing is pretty clear that he's scared that he might loose his chair.
2- Not helping at all in the Iraq situation, but instead putting hand in damages.
3- Their relationship with Iran isn't helping them alot, not their relationship with Hezbollah.
4- They want no peace in Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine.
and the list goes on.....so no one should be surprised when this regime will collaps soon....Hopefully. This way our people(Lebanese) can live in peace, the same goes with the Iraqians, Syrians, and Palestinians. Putting this terrorist down would be a good step to solve the middle-east problems....

Indeed worrying, it's sad that he can sacrifice a whole country (or 2) for personal delusion/troubles because he doesn't have to answer to anyone. That's the problem with such regimes. 
As If Lebanon belongs to him, he decides when to kidnapp and when not. He decided when to make a war and when not. He decides If this government needs to be changed or not. He decides who is wrong and who is bad...(as if he's some sort of god) and so on.

True, civil war might take place over there. We all know the majority over there are Sunni, and from Hafez the father till now, you cant keep ruling the majority. Not to also mention It's dictatorship. The father and the son were and still killing their own people.

I still find it delusional of you when you say Hezballah and Nasrallah decide on behalf of Lebanon. They have supporters who lost homes and family during this war. To them, this government is not addressing their needs. No Hezballah is not trying to take over the country in order to do that. They are creating a powerful movement in order to rid this country of its corrupt leaders.

I can't see how It's good for syria. This regime will collaps sooner or later. I understand what you're trying to say here, but the syrian people can't live like this for another 30years.
There's no freedom of speech over there, lot of things people are not allowed to do so far this regime is controlling. Media and Press only talk and praise him, this shows the way he's treating his people, there's no other view but one view.
I doubt that lot of syrian people really like him or support him, the majority of them are scared not to end up in the "Doulab".

It's not like you press a bottom and you can have everything. If you're following the situation closely, you'll figure out that over 246 houses/building are being rebuild from zero in the south....one of them is my relatives house.
Step by step...Sanyoura isn't god...And when Hassan Nasrallah will learn not to make a war whenever he wants to, then the gov can proceed and rebuild everything in Lebanon...(Hariri's steps).
Didn't Nasrallah promise to rebuild everthing was destroyed during the war??? I'm not saying It's not the gov's duty, It actually is, but on the other hand, Hezbollah are recieving over 300million US from Iran each year, I think they can give a hand, instead of planning how to make another war....and this time in Beirut.

Like I said Snoop, gave you the benefit of the doubt, I suspected it's what you meant. Israel had all the right in the world to do what it did - moral and according to international law and rules of self defense. It wasn't because of the one heinous crime, there were already captured soldiers a few years ago as you remember and many other violations and bombs and katuyshot sometimes and attempts, all in contrast to the internationally recognised borders. That being said, like I explained above, war is sad and horrific. Which is why it's a problem that Nasrallah can do whatever he wants and start an avalanche that will hurt innocent people in both countries. He can make that decision on its own, regardless of whether one believes that actions in the chain re-actions are justified or not.
