well 4.5m net isn't exactly low
according to gazzetta/calcioefinanza, it's 3,5m net, and with a 1-year extension, his current amortization will be halved too.
https://www.juventuz.com/threads/the-financial-situation.20446/page-487#post-6108037

now he costs 13,74m per season, and with unchanged wages and lower amortization, it would be ~9,92m.

But since we jusy extended him, he will stay.
not sure about that. remember that evra signed a new contract with mu just before moving to juventus. this current extension ensures that matuidi wouldn't leave for free during the summer.

Let's get this straight:
- The club keeps on increasing ticket prices, up to insane levels, to get more money. Result: 4% decrease in ticket income.
- The club puts lot of focus on "building the brand" & even decides to get rid of the striped shirts in order to sell more merchandise. Result: 24% decrease in merchandise income.

I'm gonna have to quote myself.
So you are wrong again  ;) :p

- 2 home games less
- Less season tickets sold (about 5% iirc), so ideally quite a lot more individual tickets sold for each game. And regardless of the actual price setting, individual tickets are much more expensive compared to season tickets.
- Massive price increase once again as opposed to last season, for both season & individual tickets.

In short, the fact that we had 2 home games less, should be more than made up for by the other 2 points. Yet it doesn't.

Regardless, people are free to think that everything is going great! We're killing it on social media and that's all that counts anyway :baus:

This should be indication that prices cant go further up, because attendance is going down so there is no positive effect on the books. But the point is with the same number of games, revenues are the same or thereabout, which from your initial post didnt look like. ;)

Thinks arent great but we arent on a verge of precipice either. There is a lot of negativity in every thread and Im not satisfied about certain moves over the last few years but lets at least not spread false news. :p

Getting eliminated-God forbid- from the round of 16 while Atalanta and/or Napoli qualify will have serious financial repercussions and will affect our mercato badly

Only way they fire sarree is if he hits them where it hurts, losing planned for money by early CL exit. If he gets to where they pre planned for and wins scudetto, we will have the priviledge to watch him for another season, assuming hes well and alive

imagine not playing any more home matches with open gates this season. imagine not receiving the full planned tv rights money related to serie a participation. (not to mention an early cl exit on neutral ground.)

covid-19 can have severe consequences.

For tv rights they were already sold, doubt there will be any settlement

they are sold, but not fully paid. imagine the tv companies all around the world paying for something they are not getting. i'd be surprised if the managers of most sports channels weren't already discussing the matter with their lawyers.

Which means the season getting cancelled will only be an extreme last resort. I think Euro 2020 may be aborted, Infantino hinted at that. If that happens then we could maybe extend the season during the summer if the virus gets contained by then
