Id hope we have some clause in players contracts that would offset revenue loss, in a case season ends prematurely.

Surely they would plan ahead and protect the club in case of emergencies because otherwise we are a bit fucked. Players earning millions while not playing a single game for the last 3 months of the season. That would be hell of a expensive training.

Khedira and Matuidi will never agree to such thing.
With long term injuries the health insurance picks up bill after certain period. Over here it is after 42 days of employee being on a sick leave, so Khedira...

But this is another thing and should be somewhere at the end of a contract, natural disasters, emergencies, etc... so that the club is protected in such scenarios. Or we are run by amateurs. I refuse to believe this.

Hi,I am a big Juventus fan but I am very worried about the future of the club that I feel part of me. Let's leave aside the consequences of the Corona virus which, however, will be very heavy. I did not understand the development strategy that Agnelli has in mind. I did not understand the crazy renewal at 12 million a year up to 36 years in Bonucci, the multimillion dollar renewals in Pjanic, Cuadrado, AlexSandro, Matuidi, Khedira all over 29, the crazy contract of Danilo and Sceszny! The only thing I fully agree with is the change of logo that has allowed the club to create casual clothing lines and therefore to expand the market. The problem is what clubs like Real, Barca are doing, investing 600 million each in the modernization and expansion of Bernabeu and CampNou which will allow them to collect at least three times the Juve. Juve in 2005 had almost the same revenues as the 2 Spanish. Real, for example, from 2001 to 2006 invested 127 million in Bernabeu to increase revenues, Juve zero enough to force Giraudo to threaten his resignation.I believe that the Elkann Agnelli family with all the relationships it has with the banks could have and it could do much more for the development of Juventus and a hotel and a concept store dedicated to e-sports cannot be enough, both financed Not by exor but built with the company's cash, to get closer to the Spanish clubs, to Bayern and to the English clubs who every year that passes will be richer than Juventus FC.

It strange decision the way we extend some players salary to exorbitant wage. We just got Bonucci last season and dont think it would be very wise to extend now with such a big amount of wage. Its not like he will have a lots of suitors 2.5 seasons from now. And dont forget Szczcsny wage. We should be able to reduce this kind of cost to build a team

I dont know where we headed

Turin, 28 March 2020 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that, due to the current global health emergency is preventing the performance of the sporting activity, it has reached an understanding with the players and the coach of the First Team regarding their compensation for the residual portion of the current sport season.

The understanding provides for the reduction of the compensation for an amount equal to the monthly payments of March, April, May and June 2020. In the coming weeks, personal agreements with the players and the coach will be finalised, as required by the current regulations.

The economic and financial effects of the understanding reached are positive for about EUR 90 million for the 2019/2020 financial year.

Should the current season's matches be rescheduled, the Club will negotiate in good faith with the players and the coach conditional increases of compensations according to the actual resumption and finalisation of official competitions.

Juventus would like to thank the players and the coach for their commitment at a difficult time for everyone.

Deal between Juventus and the players
