And this is supposed to be Serie A teams' main source of revenue.

- - - Updated - - -

From next year, the best EPL team will receive minimum €240m while the last EPL side will receive minimum €150m in tv money.

Don't know how we are ever going to compete with these sides in the future.Lets hope we have a plan to do so.

The whole collective T.V rights for the Italian league agreement was a shit idea, specially to us.

Clubs like Milan, Inter who are in an absolute shit situation (from a sporting point of view) are doing well with that agreement and our club is suffering the most in Italy.

Serie A will need decades if ever to catch up with the premier league financially (almost every league out there can't catch up to be honest) but if we had to negotiate for that T.V right individually we'd atleast be somewhat not too far from the top 6-7 teams in the premier league (real and Barca are examples of how far you can go with that individual agreements) .

All in all that collective T.V rights agreement have harmed us more than any team in Italy IMO and we should pushed really hard not to accept it (just like what Madrid and Barca are doing right now with the other la liga clubs).

German sides make good money from other avenues so them receiving less money from tv deals won't matter much.
Same applies to Spanish sides too. This mainly speaking in reference to the big teams.
Bayern's commercial revenue for example-€300m
Italian team with highest commercial revenue is Milan @€102m.
Juventus is at €85m.
Tv money is Italian teams' bread and butter literally , this is why I'm a bit disappointed with the new deal.
So those hoping Roma, inter and Milan continue to be shit, please think again before speaking because this is dragging Juventus down too.
Better teams in the league=bigger tv deal. It's just simple logic.

We only have ourselves to be blamed. Once we were above EPL, but unable to capitalize on global market and focusing too much only in Italy led to downfall. Italian arrogance hindered their wisdom. Let's not start on the infra, hooligans and the lousy league President we have. Richard Scudamore truely rebranded EPL with a vision.

On the new TV deal for EPL, some non English clubs have already been complaining on it and UEFA is monitoring.

Why can't we improve our commercial revenue? We should work towards being less dependant on collective league revenue. Like PSG or Bayern

We can but first we need to recreate the brand, the global appeal and the league needs to improve as well. PSG is a bad example they are bank rolled by oil money. Bayern is the model we should follow.

Bayern's commercial revenue comes from rich German sponsors. The three A's, Deutsche Telecomm and many other lucrative German sponsors.Juventus don't have that kind of luxury.
Also , they earn €125m from merchandising alone. While Italians on the other Hand continue to dip their hands in the fake jersey market. This is hurting us.
We are trying our best to market ourselves internationally but right now , Spanish and EPL sides are dominating in the mass international market too aka Asia, US etc
