Guys we are never catching EPL. That bandwagon is way too high for casual viewers. They marketed their league very well and we let them take the top spot by falling behind and doing nothing about it.

Italian league fucked itself up and wont be making a comeback unless Juve, Milan and Inter all start going far in the CL as thats where the biggest exposure for fans is.

Bayern's commercial revenue comes from rich German sponsors. The three A's, Deutsche Telecomm and many other lucrative German sponsors.Juventus don't have that kind of luxury.
Also , they earn €125m from merchandising alone. While Italians on the other Hand continue to dip their hands in the fake jersey market. This is hurting us.
We are trying our best to market ourselves internationally but right now , Spanish and EPL sides are dominating in the mass international market too aka Asia, US etc
For every team sake, something needs to be done against this illegal jersey market.

Cant afford a new one ? Buy previous or two seasons ago. They'll drop in price quite a bit

Those numbers on the previous page, that's a new deal for Serie A already started? @The Cusp
That's the old deal.

New deal kicks in this yr which gives us €14m extra rising to €30m by 2018(that's when the deal ends)
So when we're negotiating the next deal(probably in 2017), the league needs to aim for like €2b minimum atleast.

For sure,we can't allow ourselves to be in the region of 100-120M income while other TOP clubs sit on 200M minimum(new deals).

People ask how Italian clubs can compete with the English clubs. This Cuadrado is the perfect example.

Buy him young, develop him, an English club orgasms over his potential and spends 30m+, he doesn't score 40 goals in his first season, English club loans back to an Italian side with obligation for half his original selling price. English clubs with money don't suddenly become smart. And, English clubs with all that money, will pay premium price for average talent. In the end, it makes their risk so much higher because they'll be getting 15m talent for 25m and 30m talent for 50m. I mean, the English clubs have been making a ton of money from their TV deal with years now and, yes, it will only get worse. But they've been getting the most ever from their TV contracts over the last three years and have performed worse.

Yeh. Its pretty clear CL is the only shortcut to create more hype around the league.

Sadly, we need the other italian teams..specially the "top tier" ones.. to not be so fukin mediocre, and at least make some sound in europe.

Juve needs bigger rivals to create hyped matches...because even when we all are happy with our success...beating losers year in year out will get us nowhere. We need hype..and lots of it.

Without Tevez, I expect a dip in our form this year.

Inter and Milan improved their teams and should be more competitive.

So I do think the next league won't be as easy as before, even though we are clear cut favourites, of course.

Meh we don't have an obvious Tevez type goal machine in the league, but if anything our attack will be more difficult to deal with when it's settled properly. I mean when we went with Tevez and Llorente, we had 1 obvious threat. Morata was too raw and missed a pre season so in the beginning he wasn't even a regular. Now we could line up with potentially 3 legit attackers and even parking the bus won't be a great option against us because we have Mandzukic who is scrappy as fuck AND a beast in the air. The perfect person to pump crosses in to in a crowded box.
