- We sell someone significant (as in high earner and/or substantial transfer sum)

I'm afraid we won't be able to resist Pogba's sale to PSG. If they can offer 50m they will offer 70 too it won't make any difference for them. Conte will ask for reinforcements in the Summer for sure especially after he decides he wants to dump 352 (which is possible but not that much atm). IF finances are really an issue, then its quite simple what we must do.

Whats the diffrence between first and second place in serie a, financially ? Not a big deal, some pocket exchange and the cut of the televisionmoney, wich is nearly the same iirc. Take the financial squad bonus for winning the league in accound, and lower it to second place, and financially, it might actually be better to be second.

However, progressing in the europaleague, gets increasingly more interesting. Its not the big numbers from the CL, but progressing gets nice paychecks each time.

IF we need money to balance our books, then quite simple we need to put everything on europaleague.


But lets stay realistic here. Its not like we missed the CL, THAT, is massive. We went out 2 rounds early. Its bad but not the end of the world

If juve is out of the CL, its by far the best that napoli and milan go out aswel, for two reasons

1) financially
2) we have a big advantage if we draw italian teams in euro league

About coefficient, winning or losing is the same in CL and EL so doesnt matter that much.

How much can we expect to earn from this year's CL campaign, 30-40m?
Our wages and amortization are higher than last year; domestic TV rights are practically the same; income from tickets might drop a bit as I don't think EL will attract the same interest and thus the prices will be a little lower; even if we win EL we can't expect to earn more than 10m; so if I had to guess I'd say 40-50m loss is about right.

Pogba is least of our worries. Our cash flow is 60m negative, simply no funds there. Debt, sales and share emission are our options.
