CL prize money is divided into 2 parts: (a) Prize money from UEFA (b) Market share from TV pool.

(a) Prize money from UEFA:

So far Juve have amassed a total of €20.5m in Prize money for reaching the Quarter Final stage, calculated as follows:

€8.6m (Group stage Base)
€4.5m (Group stage performance: 3 Wins x €1m + 3 Draws x €0.5m)
€3.5m (Round of 16)
€3.9m (Quarter Finals)

In case Juve progress to the semifinals then a further €4.9m will be added to the coffers, reaching the final and losing it €6.5m and winning it €10.5m.

(b) Market share from TV pool:

Last season, the TV pool money allocated for Italy was around €56.3m divided between 3 clubs (Milan €25.3m, Inter €18.5m & Napoli €14.3m).

Due to the lack of a 3rd Italian representative in the CL group stages this season, Juve and Milan will split the total Market share for Italy between them.

And being Italy’s sole representative in the quarter-finals of the competition Juve will receive all of the country’s allocated revenue from television rights for this stage and beyond if Juve qualify further.

Moreover, the overall TV pool money allocation for the competition has increased from €341.1m to €409.6m as of this season.

It is difficult to estimate the total TV money that Juve will receive but a good guess would be in the region of €30m-€32m, which could stretch to €36m-€38m if Juve go all the way and actually win the CL.

In conclusion, the total CL revenue amassed by Juve so far is estimated at €50.5m.

This sum could increase to:

- €58m if Juve reach the semifinal,
- €67m if Juve reach the final,
- €71.9m if Juve win the final.

Very interesting. So if the above is true then it means TV money is not awarded until the end of the competition or at least until they know how to allocate the money amongst the teams from a particular league. Earlier in this thread some were saying that we had this TV money already included in our 6 month financials. It would appear that that was incorrect and they will be included in the year end. Thinking about it logically, it makes sense, TV money is not a fixed amount like prize money so why would this be allocated to teams already when you don't know how far a team has gotten in the competition. Obviously a team that goes further would get more of the prize pool.

Well according to Juventus official statement they earned for the first semester 42.8M from television income related to CL. But that figure alone to me looks like it's consisted out prize money and market pool. It's too much to be just one or the other. I don't see how could we made 42.8M just from prizes as you claim. I looked at other parts of the income statement such as revenues from sponsorships and advertising or other revenues and it doesn't seem to me that any part of this figure is included there. They included it in Television and radio rights and media revenues.
Also one thought UEFA sell TV rights to domestic televisions prior to the start of the CL campaign so they can broadcast it. It wouldn't make sense to sell it afterwards. So if they sell it before why wouldn't UEFA distribute money to the clubs after the sale.
Or maybe it's separated in phases such as group stage, second round, quarters.. So after each phase clubs who progress get part of those funds related to their country. And the clubs who stay longer get more.
I think that report from the next quarter will give us a better picture about this issue and what we can expect at the end of this business year.

We would also have increased merchandise sales and maybe increased sponorship money too, so probably 50m or over.

We could get 72m if we win it all.

If so, Falcao pls.
~45 mil was allready incalculated by the board , and 27 mil doesnt even pay half of falcao. let alone his wages

However, i'm a bit surprised by how much more televisionmoney the cl is generating this year.

You should head up the marketing department.

Your way with words is just what's required to get all those undesirable types on board.

Shirts are a tiny business, hardly worth the effort. Phones is where it's at. In fact, I'm surprised that Barcelona and mes que un phone didn't strike a deal already years ago.
