Actually last season's Alex id somehow unique. He was on top form, no he was on fantastic form, no he was everything good a football player is and to reach that level it is very hard and every time we'll compare Alex to last season he'll fade. To reach the top is hard but to stay on top is harder. Some may say that Alex's early years were his best but if you ask me, last season was his ultimate and at 34 you can't have two ultimate season back-to-back.

He will pick up form, he will show magic and deliver goods but he will not be as efficient/fatal/decisive/magical as he was last season.
