No it's not common sense when ancient laws that should have no place in today's society still apply: no contraception, no pre-marital sex, no homo, no woman priests, priests can't marry or have kids. Again, all these things were in the Bible but the Church chose what it wanted to make law some 2,000 years ago. Maybe these things should've went out with the other "old Jewish traditions" as time went by.

Your wrong on a lot. Let's see for the 1st 125 years priest were allowed to be married so it doesn't say no married priest in the Bible. The priest also had many kids. Contraceptives didn't exist in those days so that also isn't in the Bible. No homo is not only Christianity and at least Christians don't kill homos like Islam or old Judaism. So do you want to make up more stuff that the Bible said?

The Bible was compiled centuries afterwords, but the original source scripture is from hundreds of years before Jesus was supposedly even born. I suppose it's about as likely as any of the other religious book origins.

These are just a few problems with Christianity that I have: they seem to pick and choose what to believe and they do away with a lot of things with the 'it's modern times' excuse. Also the authenticity of the bible doesn't seem to be an issue for them. The fact that the bible was written by people who lived centuries after Christ should be a concern, the fact that Paul pretty much decided what Christianity became is a bit worrying considering how he was so against Christianity. The fact that there are so many similarities with Christianity and Roman Mythology is never mentioned by Christians.

First of all the first copy of the oldest Bible us 58-60 ad which isn't centuries. Secondly the nag hamadi scrolls are even older than that. Also if your referring to Catholicism their are some pagan images over run by Catholicism. Catholicism isn't Christianity it's but a branch. Lastly your prophet was 671 years after Jesus so why should are believe the Koran to be accurate by that logic

I don't get the 671 years after Jesus part...Whats your question? The Quran was kept authentic through the concept of memorization. Whenever a copy of the Qur'an was compiled it was verified by many many different people who had memorized the book and in that way until modern pressing machines were invented (or what not) it was kept valid. Even today there are hundreds of thousands of people who have the book memorized cover-to-cover. They're called 'Hafiz'. Not a single dot has been moved in the scripture because it can alter the meaning. None of the passages are considered out dated and we never had a council that copy/paste/edited the book.

Yes I know I celebrate Christmas and like I said we replaced pagan holidays with Christian ones , Christmas for example was a pagan which Christianity took over as Jesus birthday, for one because the church knew not when Jesus was born so the used the celebration of Christmas to commemorate the birth of the Light of the world!

First of the poisoning is in your opinion many people believe telling their child about their faith and allowing them to believe in that faith is primary, before anything else. Now I have said this is a bit far but your answers are disturbing if not disgusting

Yeah but it's not like you just swapped the dates. The rites and stories are strikingly similar. December 25th was celebrated as the birth of the Sun God,Sol Invictus. Christians instead celebrate the birth of the son of God. Jesus wasn't even born on December 25th yet that's the day you celebrate it on. The Bible is not like Qur'an in that the Qur'an is said to be the exact words of God revealed to Prophet Muhammad. Now I don't expect you to believe that but looking at it from a theological aspect you can see how everything that we're told to do came directly from the 'horses mouth'. Whereas Christians have kinda customized various beliefs and practices themselves. The Qur'an hasn't been changed, this is a fact. You can go compare any recent copy of the Qur'an with oldest Qur'an in existence, known as the Uthman Qur'an, and you won't find a single alteration to the text. Umm neither has the Bible compare any modern copy to the original texts the same so I dont understand your argument. Also Jesus birth storywas the way it was before the church decided to use the day for Christmas. Like I said the early church did not know when Jesus was exactly born, so they used this day when more and more pagan nations were incorporated into the holy roman empire. Years after the bible was written and the story of Jesus birth was told
