Most of the evidence by the scientists is flawed on two things:
- correlation doesn't mean causation. (No SUVs on Mars.)
- focusing on irrelevant things like the artic ice cap while forgetting about the antartica. (I like the polar bears, shame for them)
But it's not like it's strange so much bad science is in this field. The funding from the enviromental taxes they get is enormous. I guess you like being taxed. The other reason so many people believe in the scary global warming is the liberal media. They have the power to persuade the mindless sheep to believe anything. You didn't say anthing about the winter, I guess that's worthless compared to all the "science".
Look, I could waste my breath citing
evidence and
studies, but you're going to ignore them and selectively review them anyway. If someone chooses to remain ignorant and believe in tooth fairies and that humanity is derived from space alien corpses dropped into the Hawaiian volcanoes, that is your prerogative. There are no laws against ignorance.
The telltale sign I note in your response is that it's purely an emotional reaction: taxes, liberal media, blah blah blah. No facts. No evidence. No rationale. No science. Which is like trying to have a rational conversation about homosexuality with a Mormon. It's pointless.
Perhaps the biggest danger of all here is the entitled sense of personal scientific qualification: I may have gotten a C in high school earth science class, therefore I trust my own opinions before anyone who has committed their lives to understanding the field after getting their PhDs and reviewing/writing research papers. Which is about the equivalent of saying that you're best friends with Justin Bieber because you see him on entertainment TV shows every day and thus know everything about him. And then hide behind emotional responses as the underlying motivator for your beliefs.
Hey, faith-based science... what a concept. Good luck with that, sir. And good luck that evolutionary biology doesn't leave you as roadkill.
