Last year we had a very strong finish in the mercato. Most of the deals were done at the end. But it looks like we're late this year, or we don't plan to do much more:

21 August ---- Kalulu IN
21 August ---- Rugani OUT
25 August ---- Nico Gonzalez IN
25 August ---- Miretti OUT
26 August ---- Alex Sandro OUT
27 August ---- Conceicao IN
27 August ---- Szczesny OUT
------------------------------------------------------------------
28 August (Today last year) ---- Koopmeiners IN
------------------------------------------------------------------
29 August ---- De Sciglio OUT
29 August ---- Chiesa OUT

It was Giuntoli, but i think we have to get use to it, simply because Serie A will be hunting on the scraps that PL and other more wealthy clubs dont want any more. Thats the current reality. Some DS calls it waiting for an opportunity, but in reality its waiting for unwanted scraps that still could be rejuvenated.
If no one wants Sancho, maybe we can get him for peanuts at the end of mercato.
Lille might be desperate to sell Zhegrova on last day since he is on last year of his contract and they will loose him for free.
etc. etc.

So looks like Savona, Kily and Vlahovic out and Muani and Zhegrova in before deadline day?

Looking at our squad if this happens:

GK:
DiGre, Perin, Pinsoglio

DEF:
Bremer, Gatti, Kalulu, Kelly, Cabal

FB:
Cambiaso, Joao Mario, Kostic, ?

MID:
Locatelli, Koopmeiners, Thuram, Miretti, Mckennie

ATT:
Conceicao, Zhegrova, Yildiz, Kolo, David, Milik

I give this 'mercato with stability' a solid 5/10 if this happens. Otherwise the rating would be even lower.

❗️⛔️ #Comolli would have rejected the #Napoli offer for #Vlahovic due to the way #DeLaurentiis has handled the #Osimhen situation, going as far as including an anti #Juventus clause.

Some guys here giving it 10/10 Mercato last year. :touched:

If this is true, then my opinion of Comoli will change drastically regardless of how poor he managed this summer mercato.

Fuck them Napolitans and that pedo De Laurentis.

Showing how low IQ tuzers are . A number intelligent members included me noticed the disastrous mercato and were disregarded when telling the truth.

Hm, we?

Not me sir.

Not everyone got fooled last year.

I, on the other hand, with other members here like @JCK , @Lion , @Bjerknes and @Siamak criticized Giuntoli.

And for that we got hammered and insulted by the bunch here last summer, calling us throaters, spammers...

I dont really think its a matter of intelligence, on paper most the signings we made last year were great. Most of journos were placing us as biggest title contenders. The problem is we can only rate the mercato with minimal data we have - general football knowledge, some highlights and few games we have seen a guy play.
We dont have the scouting data of the player, how he acts in the locker room, whats his character, we didnt watch the game concetrate only on him live.
This is DS job and if he fails with so many signings he didnt do his job correctly, dont think u should insult the intelligence of the forum
Besides u did rate last year mercato on 7.5 out of 10 ur self, thats pretty good rating.

I gave 7.5 because of Thuram and Kalulu. less injury record and delivered at the maximum quality. Not insult but the incomers were over-defended and Huijsen sale was severely overlooked.

we as majority of the forum, I dont think I called any of u throaters or spammers. I choose not to be a psycho fan or psycho hater of any transfer since Caldara-Bonucci swap with Milan.

Your definition of "strong" is different from mine.

As per usual by the end of August, we seem to be completely clueless and therefore ready to make dumb decisions that will bite us in the ass in a few months/years.
