I think Kolo plays on the right behind David, next to Yildiz.

Makes me wonder why we bought Conceicao at all. Joao Mario is clearly the preferred option at RWB. I guess this means Conceicao is the first one off the bench, goes to the right side behind the striker and then David is either replaced by Kolo or off the bench of Kolo is the one being replaced when Conceicao comes on.

In the winter mercato the answer possibly would've been even harder.

July 1st maybe not but I still think it's tied to Vlahovic moving out. Isn't it a coincidence news of his move is breaking out simultaneously?
You start in January, maybe even earlier to identify your summer targets, especially if you are working with limited resources.

I agree that our purchases are tied to potential sales. But that constraint does not mean we should go out and "just" buy anyone at any price the moment money is unlocked. Muani at 60 mil is retarded especially when you too all summer to get it done.

My personal preference is to keep dusan, invest in a CB and a WB and loan a winger.

Agree but it does mean a lot of targets run away before the money becomes available especially when being played by Vlahovic and Milan.

I get what you're saying but I shiver at the idea of keeping Dusan. If anything happened to David we'd be fucked imo. Plus it already pays for a big part of Kolo too while we'd still need to invest in a ST next season too. Totally in agreement on the rest of your mercato wishes 'tho.

If we play fantacalcio here and buy Zhegrova and Kolo, our attack would be pretty darn good when compared to our last seasons.... Spongebob's legs in defence tho.

Look, i understand the complaints if we were to pay something closer to +80M or above on Kolo Muani but we clearly started negotiations on the wrong foot back in January by not including a clause and now PSG had probably other teams ready to outbid us and only the player’s insistence to return here made it possible for us to even get him for this much via a loan+obligation formula…. but anyway can’t help but laugh a bit at those who worry so much if its’s a few mils minus or extra on a rather necessary deal… ffs we as fans should just focus on our team strengthening and having a better squad that is ready to compete, so i could’t care less if we get Kolo for €60M or €70M at this stage, we’re still not going to spend it more wisely somewhere else.
I would rather keep Savona and add Muani and avoid overpaying for someone else, we will see how the team performs and the winter mercato give us the opportunity to bring in players we need.

they have 3 attacking positions. Currently they have 4 players for those 3 positions, and thats including Nico. Last year they didn’t even have a backup for Vlahovic the majority of the season. It’s good to have depth.

and I think it’s more likely David plays behind or next to Kolo, he’s more of a playmaker than Kolo.

Paying €60m for Muani is ridiculous considering we have other more important gaps to fill within the squad. Just make Vlahovic a backup and try to extend him, there’s a full year of time for that. Spend on a LCB or a CM.

Well, Kolo played is a "support" striker role last season for us. David hold-up play is actually pretty decent hence why I think he'd be the striker. But yeah, depth and options of quality are always good.

I'd also imagine we're making this decision because a Vlahovic deal is close. No way we do this without moving Vlahovic.

Excl - Talks are progressing between #NottinghamForest and #Juventus for Nicolò #Savona. #NFFC have increased their bid to €16M (12,5M + 3,5M as bonuses) + 10% on the future sale. #Juve want more 18-20M + 10% on the future sale. Expected a new round of talks in the next hours

I have no confidence Vlahovic will fuck off. I think it’d be funnier if he had to train with next gen anyway
