It appears Nottingham Forest are having a more productive transfer season than JJ

Let my put the record straight about Hjulmand before you start reading and believing the fairy tales out there.

There is no way we can sign him in a part exchange deal, mainly because the players we are offering Sporting cant afford to pay their wages or they dont want the player.

Secondly he's a key player for sporting so we'll be looking at the region of 60+ mill just to even sign him

Will we pay that? Absolutely not, ive always maintained the idea that we will sign cheaper alternatives in midfield which is why I ruled out the Tonali theory a long time ago just as im doing so now with Hjulmand.

Alot of this is just common sense, just because we have an agreement with the player (supposedly) literally means jack shit if we cannot match the club's demands and its not like they have to sell him either since he has time on his contract and Sporting aren't exactly in a dire financial state that they need to make immediate sales.

Anyways thats my take on it @Alen

Every team sees to get their asking price for their players except JJ.
That's because other teams have players that teams actually want.

We have players that Juventus don't even want, and therefore other teams can lowball the hell out of us or ask for a shitty loan, daring us to say no and potentially be forced to keep that player.

And in other circumstances where we might have a player with some value, it's just incompetence.

I'm not sure which is worse.

Starting to find news regarding the club really boring now.

Don't think there's ever been a window where the same news has been constantly recycled so much or where we have been linked to so many mediocre players

This is definitely the most boring summer window ever.

Atletico got Hancko for 26 million. :rolleyes2: Would have liked him here for that amount. Have we even been linked to any CBs lately? Apart from that Leoni kid from Parma who we aren't even serious about.

Laporte pushing to go back to Europe. Big wages tho, I guess? Veiga is too expensive as well. Chelsea want to let Badiashile go, Kim from Bayern is available too. Any more interesting options out there?

Ballerdi and Leoni would improve us.

Get rid of Gatti and Kelly.
Leoni is surprisingly good for his age.
Ballerdi I have no knowledge about him

In any case - The real move should be a top CB and someone like Leoni - Why? Injuries - The occure and the promising CB would get lots of opportunities to shine.
Our management is probably aware of it but still dont do what needed to be done.

Kelly and the likes are useless.
Gatti is under-valued here by most but he as well shouldnt be first choice. He is ok as a sub or a rotation type of player but definitely not a must keep... He might not be the perfect CB but he has some value in him. He is strong and aggressive which should help against physically strong opponents like Lukaku for example.

As for the other positions I already spoke my mind enough so I wont "dig into your heads with it again"
