• We have an okay-ish but still underwhelming starting XI. Locatelli, Mario and Gatti are three spots that can be upgraded.
• Six players can be useful backups and by saying that I'm already picking the best of a bad bunch. And even that depends on two big IFs: If Koop regains his form, and if Nico suddenly knows how to play football again. Thank you Giuntoli.
• The holes in the squad are blatant: defenders, wingbacks, midfielders, in that order. Esp now that we sold Weah, we have actully no natural wingback for rotation, a role which seems vital in Tudor's system.
• Bench options but far from being reliable: Savona, Cabal, Adzic.
• Rubbish: Kelly, Djalo/Luiz, Arthur/Kostic/Dusan, Milik.

And if one or more of the following happens, some of which highly likely, we will be stretched to the limit:

• Bremer's (or Kalulu) injury causing availability issue
• Koop and/or Nico remain who they are in the last season
• Muani is hijacked and we have to rely on Dusan or Milik, or panic buy some meme striker
• Failing to ship off the deadwood block us from reinforcing the weak points

Conclusion: we are fucked.

We need wingbacks. Kostic stinks and theres nobody on the right besides mario. Pietrelli could be an internal option as hes been training with the first team, but thats just one guy. They need multiple.

Centerback just depends on how they view Djalo and if Rugani stays. Those are fine backups imo. So are Savona and Cabal.

Midfield is another issue. Need someone to push Locatelli, and who is Thurams backup?

You literally just said yesterday that Weah being sold for under 20M was a masterful move and that Comolli could be “the one.” Now you’re complaining we need wingbacks. Make up your mind.
