If we really want a holding mid and has Serie A experience. I will take Maxime Lopez from Sassuolo. Yeah he is a midget (1,67m), but he is really good with the ball. The other name is that Asslani but he already go to Merda. But Maxime Lopez will do the job for that regista role flawlessly, bad news is every sassuolo players is tagged with 30m price. The best part is this is his injury history

Sassuolo get him for 2m euro, now he is valued 15m by transfermarkt. With the same money for Paredes we probably can get him , fitter, younger and already have experience for full season in Serie A

There aren't that many "great" registas, so it doesn't make sense to always have to use one. I don't understand this reluctance of using Zakaria as a DM.
Oh, I don’t think it’s necessary, but B81 just hates registas in general for some reason.

I absolutely agree that if a good regista isn’t available we should just use DMs

Again, we don't need one. We can deploy a midfield trio of Zakaria, Pogba and Locatelli. I'd rather we trust both Rovella and Fagioli than give minutes and wages to an Argentine Pussyfag who is deemed excess to requirements at his current club. I thought your beloved Allegrisaurus was actually studying the game in the two years he was on hiatus - it seems more of the same to me. Safe, predictable and lacking in ideas.
Stop being so cringe

Lets not kid anyone, Arthur or Ramsey won't be sold this summer.

Best we can hope for with Ramsey is a modest golden handshake, but realistically we might have to pay at least a half his yearly salary to get rid of him. After what he's shown on Juve and Eintracht on his next contract that dude isn't going to get much, not dealing with this last summer was a disaster imo, we could've saved a lot more then.

Arthur might be possible to move on a long loan deal with reasonable conditions to make it an obligation to buy, I don't think we're going to sell him outright, would be a huge loss on the books.
We tried, he didn't want to...

what exactly have we built so far? this team if firing on all cylinders looks like a proper CL contender on the first glance:

Cuads - Bonucci - Bremer - Danilo
Zakaria - Locatelli - Pogba
di Maria - Vlahovic - Chiesa

but then you realize that on the bench we'd have 3 crap fullbacks, a shitload of central midfielders, Moist Booty and 0 wingers.
and then there's the problem of Chiesa recovering from injury and di Maria, Pogba and Bonucci probably won't endure 2 games a week all season long either.
It's all relative to the competition. Its not like they (Milan/Inter) have great squads or any depth either. They won their leagues with ancient Girouds, Sanchez, Darmian and Ashley Young types coming from the bench.

This first 11 is an almost entirely new one compared to Pirlos. We are building a new core.

Even with Pogba fit we needed another WC midfielder. Now it's essential or we should expect the same shit performances as last as year.

Squad is still really unbalanced. LB, CB, LW, FW and MF is needed as well as losing all the dead weight... Impossible

Ramsey, Alex Sandro, Kean, Rabiot, Cuadrado all are out of contract next June. Move as many as possible now (except for Juan), but at least we know for certain that we will have much more breathing room in the wage bill in 2023.

Talks between Juventus and PSG for Leandro Paredes going. Player changed representatives few weeks ago and is not against idea of joining Juve, but first, Juve must sell someone. PSG asks for €20M. @GoalFrance
the only way I'd accept Paredes would a dry loan of a year.
We have so many problems getting rid of Arthur so why should we solve PSG problems for a player they wanna give away no matter what?
Accept loan and that's it.
