Not saying Neymar or Pogba wil come but I just dont see why we are offloading all of our assets if we arent about to make a splash late in the market. The only other option I see would be that we are trying to get as many players on the new tax system as possible. But look at some of this money we are potentially bringing in

Plus we brought in a few frees and De Ligt who was expensive but also over 5 years.
Thats close to 185 in sales. Throw in Higuain or Mandzukic and we are getting close to 200. Are we in that big of financial trouble that we need to sell so much without a big purchase?

He isnt completely off the table but we need to sell so many before we could afford it and even then its not a sure thing..
I think Neymar would be an even better signing than Pogba in terms of marketability and future planning (assuming Neymar wont act like he did at PSG) as we would have a leader in attack for post Ronaldo era and also an amazing partner for Ronaldo up front + It could convince Eriksen to sign with us and not Real next year when his contract expires..
