...do we need tonali though?
probably no at the moment. fab seems to rate him though :boh: and we wouldn't fancy an other verratti situation either.

personal opinion: the best italian players should play for juve. i'm happy that we had the likes of buffon, del piero, zambrotta, cannavaro, chiellini, barza, marchisio (etc, the list is endless) in their primes, and we were lucky enough to snatch pirlo for a couple of years before his inevitable decline. i'm also happy that berna is here, i have high hopes for spina, had some for caldara, you get the idea. we did get some lemons like ogbonna and some almost there kinda players like zaza, and we still never lost any money on italians, so it's obviously worth trying under the right conditions. tonali gets the recognition from fans and media, he might be the next big thing in italian football. and who knows, he could come handy from day 1, when pjanic needs a rest against slow, weak serie a teams. look at bentancur, even with his ups and downs he's already a reliable squad player, in his 2nd year in italy. did we need him? last year, no. this season, definitely.

also, look at real's squad: this is not their best year, still, it is a future proof team, since they have nine players below 24 in their first squad. barcelona and city have six. we have two, of which kean might eventually get sold or loaned out. i always believed a team do need explosive youngsters, especially when you have "youth" in your name. with agnelli, it won't be a priority (winning is one), and i prefer keep winning without italian youngsters, still, if we can integrate some young italians, we should at least try.

I think he should be bought but I'd rather let him stay at Brescia on loan to get plenty of games next season. He is still only 18.
varane has been a regular for real since he was 19. de ligt is ajax captain since he's 18. i'm not saying that tonali is just as good as these two, my point is that age shouldn't be a limiting factor in case he's good enough.

I know, but I just think It'd be better for his development to keep playing big minutes with Brescia.

:sergio:

Ramsey+Rabiot+Zaniolo not enough for the midfield? :lol3:
So you are one of those who dont understand what they are saying but then laugh at others...
Yes - Ramsey is good but not amazing
Rabiot is good but not amazing
Zaniolo might be that great in the future but for now he isnt a superstar - He is a good player who has a bright future ahead of him - dont be fooled by 2 or 3 moves.. (and Im saying this as someone who admire him)

It will definitely improve our mid but do you want an improvement or do you want to have one of the best midfield in Europe - Maybe you aspire for Serie A title I aspire for Juve to become the most dominant force in football and for this to happen we need several things
1. Improve our defense - De Ligt is mentioned so if we get him what else can we ask?!
2. Improve our midfield - This is an easy task to just improve our midfield but do we want just to improve it or do we want to make a statement?! This is why I keep calling for Pogba!
3. Improve our attack - D.Costa has crazy talent but I guess his 10 cents brain will continue to hold him back so he can stay but not be our future starter
Bernardeschi improves game by game and Im saying this even though he wasnt superb in every game but he does show something we need - He can dribble when needed he is quite smart, he can pass and he has a wicked shooting skills.
Dybala - He is an amazing talent but I hope he can turn the might to definitely
Can we improve?! Yes! its much more difficult there but we can certainly improve by getting players who are going to cost...
A. Salah - He can play against tough defense (as he showed before and I remember him against us - creating problems every time)
B. Mbappe - Extremely difficult to get but not entirely impossible (Messi is impossible)
C. Joao Felix - Not at the level of the former too yet but he is so young and has so much potential - He for example is much more ready than Zaniolo (who is extremely talented but isnt WC yet)
D. There are more players but Im not going to name every single one...

We should definitely bring a staple to the Bonucci position, as i really think Bonucci is not up to it anymore (not up to it in dangerous levels). We obvs need to bring a midfielder at least and do some other changes.

Costa, Cuadrado, Khedira and Barzagli are my prime targets to go out:
Costa: talented but way too inconsistent for his price and his mentality is suspicious.
Cuadrado: can make room for a better player.
Khedira: You know the deal
Barzagli: Respect for our legend but needs to retire. His body cant handle it anymore.

Bonucci´s case should be analyzed (i think he is going nowhere anyways). If we keep Bonucci, we should get a young defender for the future (Also chiello is not getting any younger). If we sell Bonucci, we should get a staple defender with experience

Dybala. Well i would give him one more season but we need thinkering with him. I dont know what to say really. He is so talented but he simply cant play under Allegri, and i dont see allegri leaving us anytime soon. So dybala is in a tough position.

What we should keep:

Kean: First and foremost, keep this boy. His talent and mental resilence is evident. He just needs more minutes and will give Mandzukic a hell of a run for his money. Its for all to see. Also, i think mandz will last one more season before definitely entering the retirement material zone...We can manage next season with them both. Also by keeping him(kean) we save Cuntardi money and spend it on midfield.

Spinazzola: Obvious choice. Do not buy Marcelo (he is not coming anyways), and use spinazzola. He will be a baller and is another obvious thing to see. He was one of the pillars against ATM, in his CL debut, and while not being a starter. Enough said.

What we should get
-Young CB
: Chiello and Bonucci are old.
-Ndombele: Young, eager, skilled, can bring the ball forward and is good at recovering balls and hustling in the middle of the field. The Must buy IMO. A midfield of Pjanic, Ndombele, Ramsey, Matuidi, Can, Betancur seems competitive enough to me.
-Chiesa: Could occupy Costas role right now.

Buying Mbappe would be the dream but is not a priority (even when he would blow out of the water both Mandz and Kean combined). His cost would be exhorbitant, to the point that the ronaldo deal would look like child´s play in comparison. We would need to sacrifice dybala and a couple more just to have a chance on him.

The bad thing about not getting Mbappe oif theres the chance.. is that he seems to be one in a generation talent and the team who buys him on his prime will most likely pull a ronaldo to madrid effect.

@Hydde They won't let Cuadrado go. He can play anywhere and doesn't complain when he's benched. Tbh we missed him a lot in the last few months.
I hope we will do more than a single buy in the midfield, we clearly lack quality despite last performance. Ramsey is not enough imo.

You know what...thinking more about it, i would not mind, .....as long as he is not interfering with Dybala´s and Berna´s minutes ......im fine with it.
He is not bad going on the offensive but he is too random and you cannot waste minutes waiting for his thing to happen.

You know, i have said this before and ill say it again.... Cuadrado could be a terrific right back, and im not 100% sure... im 200% sure he would be gazzilion times better than MDS in that position. I have No doubts about it. He has more drive, he can pour forward and he can hustle. He just needs a longer window of opportunity to show it. MDS got nothing on him in that regard.

In fact, having Sandro/spina on one wing, and Cancelo/Cuadrado on the other could be the perfect balance. Cuadrado offers workrate and coverage, with some trickyness. Cancelo is more offensively effective but has less sacrifice and workrate on him.

Cuads will go if we think he can't play like before because of all these injuries.
