I didn't watch Chiesa play a lot, so I might be wrong but I'm not a fan of selling Costa just for the sake of netting some cash.
And Zaniolo wouldn't replace him ofc, but per se I'd be okay if we'd use money from a Costa transfer to sign this guy. Zaniolo seems like we'd be set for few good years.
Chiesa is certainly more expensive than Costa, it wouldn't be about making cash, but spending extra cash to improve on the field. Chiesa as 21(?) year old is more effective and more reliable than Costa, but as such he will cost at least 60m.

But I guess he would get less salary than Costa.

Unless we sell Pjanic I see no reason for this...
Eriksen is going to cost as much as Pogba and for this price Pogba is easily the better choice...

Isco?
Eriksen is going into the final year of his contract next season. He would come considerably cheaper than Pogba.

Isco would be a good purchase and would improve our midfield. I know there are question marks over his consistency but he was rarely given continuity in Madrid’s line-up: often being benched even when in good form as there midfield isn’t short of quality options. I’m pretty confident if he was at a club where he had more continuity and was an undisputed starter; his game would go up a level. He played his best football for Madrid under Zidane when was given starter status.

Is he?

I could see some EPL club being dumb enough to pay around €50m for Costa, on top of that Chiesa's wages would probably be way lower than Costas.

Let's not sell Dybala.

Perin: 20 million
Rugani: 40 million
Sandro: 50 million
Costa: 50 million
Higuain: 30 million

That's 190 million without really hurting our starting 11 or depth. If we add another 80 million, that's 270 million to play with. De Ligt, Ndombele, Chiesa (everyone's fetish) and Zaniolo are not impossible then.

I don't know Dybala Is on a thin slope. It may not be his fault but he's not fitting in. He may stay he may not I'm 50/50

How is selling 4 players currently on the team not hurting our depth ? So, I guess you'd be ok with playing Pinsoglio if Szczesny gets hurt.
