Let assume that we will sell no other players.
Why is it so bad that we can only declare 23 players for the CL?
Do we have a contract that ties us to mandatory field some of them in the CL?
For example Higuain, Manzdu, Dybala, Khedira and Matuidi, all had offers to go elsewhere and Juventus made it clear that we want them gone.
Along with the loaned out Pellegrini, that's the 6 players that will stay out at their responsibility.
And next time an offer comes to them. They will think twice not to accept it...
Basically the same rules apply for the league, we can only register 23 there too (including Pinsoglio because he is HG).
No, but we can expect several unhappy players and a destructive dressing room. By January, I expect some will force they way out - hopefully exactly those that we don't want here. I am really happy I am not Sarri at this point. Then there's the financial aspect of having a senior squad of waaaay too many players. It is expensive. We already have Ronaldo's salary to deal with, we don't want to expose ourselves even more.
Furthermore, we keep sending signals to other clubs that we are more than willing to offload players like Tevez, Vidal, Llorente, and so on, basically for free. I am pro our management but very concerned about the long-term planning. We seem to think ahead in terms of marketing but nothing else.

So Dybala looking at PSG so when he goes, who will replace him? Icardi is not a replacement for Dybala, he's a Mandzukic replacement. Suddenly we look very one dimensional, low on creativity. Surely Berna would be better off elsewhere because he's so mediocre? Also, Can is very versatile and therefore vital to have in the squad. Now I'm worried.
Dybala isn't that creative. KP is key passes but excludes free kicks, throw-ins, and corners. Higuain put up 1.32 over his career. Dybala is more of a dribbler, free kick specialist, and finisher (especially from distance).
You want a creator James & Eriksen are your best real options (these are career #s btw, except for the last 2 because of their career lengths)

OP Goals/90 = open play goals per 90 mins
OP shots = open play sots per 90
% = conversion rate
KP/90 = key passes in open play (ex fk, corners etc) per 90
A/90 = assists per 90
Kp to Assist (should say assist to KP) = conversion of assist to KP
P/90 = passes per 90
P% = pass %
T/O = take-ons

Almost all of these parasites that do not want to leave were brought due to Allegri's requests. I mean they were 100% starters under his rule with minimal exceptions.Mandzu, Khedira, MDS, Matuidi were always on the field when fit.
Absolute disgrace that this motherfucker is gone but his legacy will live forever.. or at least till the next transfer window.
I am losing even the bare minimum respect I have ever had for that guy and his pathetic supporters.
please do not refer to a club legend like Allegri as a "motherfucker"

Matuidi & Rugani are expected to leave Juventus. For Dybala, the swap deal with Inter for Icardi is possible in the last hours of the mercato. (Sky)

Matuidi has no offers at the moment (Romeo Agresti)

Can Juve resolve squad issues before it's too late?

It's rare that you get a manager speaking with the sort of honesty we heard from Maurizio Sarri over the weekend, when he admitted Juventus need to shift six players between now and the end of the transfer window or risk having to cut them from their Champions League squad. A lot of the focus has been driven by the transfer window, with speculation about the likes of Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain and/or Mario Mandzukic moving or, in midfield, Sami Khedira or Blaise Matuidi. But there ought to be a bigger concern: how did we get here?

Juventus can count and they knew that because they have just one homegrown player in the squad, perpetual third keeper Marco Pinsoglio, they can only register 22 players. So what kind of planning is it to find yourself in mid-August being forced to give guys away?

This situation is aggravated by the fact that most of the players they want to shift are older and with hefty contracts. What's more, with the Premier League window closed, there are only so many potential destinations and there won't be any late-August panic buys from mid-table English sides.

It's pretty basic stuff. You hope that sporting director Fabio Paratici has some sort of plan up his sleeve, one that won't cost the club too much money. Otherwise, for all his success in landing the likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey, he will have dropped the ball big time.

Even ESPN US is talking about Juve's problem. Someone once told me, "preparation is the key to success." Management sure didn't prepare for this obvious situation. Funny Juve has difficulty keeping players at times and now everyone wants to stay here. I agree with poster that Max had a hand in this but still management had plenty of time to lessen the issue. And also agree with poster that stated if not needed, sit those players on the bench and see how many still want to stay in January. Poor Sarri might end up a one-and-done manager.
