You know that case was in like 1994/95 I don't think a 7 year old me would be in any position to judge based on my opinions and findings, I wouldnt have even cared, I was barely even watching football at the time let alone draw opinions on a high profile court case.

I agree he is nothing special but I trust him to do a better Job as Weah's deputy than Mckennie. But at the same time we don't have a lot of time left in this window and for me a RWB/RB is more of a priority than an attacker. I don't even trust De sciglio will play or be available for more than 1/3 matches this season. Also the Castagne trail has gone cold, even id take him now at a modest price despite my objections earlier in the window

We should get someone for sure, don't disagree there. Just not keen on Holm.


And don't count on De shittio, not because he is shit, but because he is out injured til 2024.

We've got tons of people who can cover for RWB. Besides Cambiaso all alternatives are poor. But, is Weah a future starting RB/RWB for this side or will he be a versatile backup player? I am leaning toward the latter, so I'm not sure anymore about the RWB position. Splashing out money for a backup that will be shipped away a year from now does not seem sensible. Especially when we have Soule, McKennie, Iling Jr, Cambiaso, and so on, that can step in if Weah gets injured. Are we that much worse off without e.g. Holm? I'm not convinced.
If we are getting a RB/RWB, I want that one to be stronger than Weah. Since we're not in Europe I am not worried about match congestion, the problem will only arrive if he gets injured. Haven't checked his track record there.

Edit: I like Soppy as @Osman suggested, perhaps not better than Weah but I fancy him and he can play on both flanks and has a cool name.

I think Holm would still be a good alternative because his game compliments Weah, as he's more defensive minded. Thats not to say hes one dimensional, because he's not, but he'd be a good player to bring in late in games or even challenge for a starting spot. Competition is never a bad thing, and I don't trust Soule or McKennie to replace Weah if he went down. Cambiaso is the starter on the left and Iling as a RWB would be a weird fit since he's left footed. We really need someone else unless they just rate Mulazzi, which would be cool too.

To clarify, we have players that could play RWB but that doesnt mean they can play the position rigth... for example:

Soule doesnt have the "defensive" aspect of the position, he is more an offensive player
McK...well he is what he is...
Illing doesnt play on the rigth (Im on the opinion that he should have been tested in the pre season to see if he could have played there)
Cambiaso he can surely play there but I dont know if Allegri see him there.
