Why do we need 4-5 fullbacks, 6-7 CBs, 6-7 CMs and 4-5 strikers? Why do we need such a big squad? I'd start cutting legs a lot more. We are only competing domestically, we will barely need to rotate. Why add backup players? Make due with what we got, sell a bunch of 'em and then add quality where there are gaps to fill.
If someone wants Szczesny then sell him, we have GKs.
CBs: Bremer, Gatti, Danilo, Rugani, Bonucci, De Winter, Sandro.
Get rid of Bonucci, Rugani if someone shows interest and we can dream of Sandro leaving. Since we're stuck with them I am ready to let Bremer go and use that money towards a winger instead.
Full-/Wingbacks: MDS, Sandro, Cambiaso, Pellegrini, Kostic, Weah, Iling Jr. Even Danilo if we need to.
Eventually during the season Allegri will work out that the 352 isn't working and will switch to a 433. So we need to have that in consideration. Here's where I'd add a quality RB, someone reliable. Stuck with MDS but Pellegrini will leave. I would personally deploy Danilo as a defensive RB that convers to DM in possession and let Kostic/Cambiaso take care of LB to allow them to push up a lot. Let Barzagli tutor them during the year.
CMs: Fagioli, Miretti, Rovella, Locatelli, McKennie, Rabiot, Zakaria, Pogba, Caviglia,
Zakaria will leave and I assume Nicolussi too. Hopefully McKennie as well. Pogba will be out most of the year and I expect him to play around 120min. This leaves us with five CMs, Fagioli, Miretti, Rovella, Locatelli, and Rabiot. I don't think we need another CM and don't see what Kessie will add in terms of characteristics. He is a better version of Locatelli or Rabiot, kind of. Miretti seems to be going off on loan so he could fill his spot but then we add more defensively solid CMs and I'd rather go for a more attacking player. But five CMs should still be sufficient for domestic games.
Wingers: Chiesa, Iling Jr, Weah, Kostic and Soule.
Soule is sent away to gain minutes. Kostic offers legs and crosses, a good squad player to have. Iling Jr. is still raw and I wouldn't consider him or Weah as starters but interesting rotational wingers. Chiesa would be a starter ofc but we will struggle without a quality RW at the end of the season when we give up on 352. I would even consider Kean as rotational option in a Raumdauter kind of role against weaker opponents.
Strikers: Kean, Vlahovic, Milik, Chiesa and to some extent Kaio Jorge.
Chiesa is not a striker but since we have Allegri... We have more than enough players to play out domestically.

I'd much rather see us transform into a 433. Get a reliable winger, let Danilo take RB to save money and look for a CM that can grow and take the seat from Rabiot/Pogba next year. Look for players that would fit the bill with the next coach we would want to have.
Another reason to cut legs is that we simply don't have the space for 'em. We can't register all these players even if we leave out MDS. Let's say we get rid off some we will then have:
Polack, Perin, Pinsoglio (3)
Danilo, Gatti, Bremer, Rugani, De Winter, Sandro (6)
MDS, Cambiaso (2)
Fagioli, Rovella, Locatelli, Rabiot, Pogba, Kessie (6)
Chiesa, Iling Jr, Weah, Kostic (4)
Kean, Vlahovic, Milik and maybe Jorge (4)
Take away MDS until January, that leaves us with 24 players with the only addition of Kessie. In January that will be 25. And then I've skipped:
Soule, Miretti, Zakaria, McKennie, Bonucci, and Nicolussi
We have NG, let the starting GK there be our third GK. Let Perin take first spot and hope that Pinsoglio is never plays.

I'm not envious of Giuntuli. Stuck with so many dead legs he can't get rid off. Stuck with a coach that will still focus on crosses even if we give him creaters. It's a frustrating mercato for me but more so for him.

Imagine Vlahovic - Lukaku frontline.

The hoof-horror it would allow Allegri to unleash. I say bring it on as it would allow us to circumvent our shitty, but physical midfield, and play for 2nd balls off our two butchers in front.

If we are really working discreetly, how the hell will anyone know about it?

I guess this is his job...
Anyway we are getting Lukaku. Links are just way too strong. Unless... he imitates Moggi "smokescreen" but we didnt do that since Moggi... If he does it and it pays off we should crown Giuntuli.
Then again one player still not enough to replicate what Marrota and Conte did

This is bs, right?
FI joined the party.
Honestly speaking despite Woj not performing like Curtois, he is still a good GK.
I wont miss him but I wouldnt be too disappointed should he stay

imagine being mad at a sports director for signing squad player level players for squad player positions

also imagine ignoring signings like vidal, pirlo, barzagli, tevez, bonucci, lichtsteiner, dybala, alex sandro (yes, him; he was great for years and it's paratici's and allegri's fault that he's still here), cuadrado, pjanic & co

turk is really special

Tek is the highest paid keeper, third highest overall, in Serie A, he should be more than just "good." So if someone is willing to buy him, Giuntoli should POUNCE.

It would actually be better to fully embrace Cross FC with those 2 up front.

It's also most of those I bolded were not even squad players, they were regular starters that brought us trophies.

among those you highlighted, only khedira was remotely useful. he was finished in physical aspect, but still carried himself well due to his intelligence on the pitch.

how is it so difficult to understand. it was a list of his fuckups. and those fuckups are way over the acceptable level. if you drop that amount of shit in ocean, world would end in an instant.
