Age aside, he isn't even that good these days, his fitness is crap. Doesn't make sense on so many levels.

We are signing a semi-washed black Higuain for an insane amount for Serie A standards. Think of when Milan signed Higuain from us.

Allegri is sinking this club to the ground. He should've resigned with Agnelli and Tici but it looks like he's going to set us back for another couple of years.

All this talk about 'getting back to the top immediately' when we had 1 or 2 wins in like 20 big games last season lol.

Lets put this lukaku bastard into perspective,

11 mill wage is after the tax decree

next year the tax decree benefit lowers so we end up paying more after tax and so forth

The first year alone will be ~26 mill euros in wages and transfer fee

Year 2: ~31 mill euros in wage and transfer fee

etc...

IS THIS CLUB FUCKING MAD???? God I fucking hate you Allegri like really fucking hate you

Jokes aside..

What is the rationale behind signing Lukaku, even from a financial perspective? He’s going to have higher wages than Vlahovic. He’s 7 years older.

The only reason i can see is the difference between Vlahovic’s sale and Lukaku’s purchase, which is where any financial benefit or not is coming from.

Or am I missing something?

Maybe we want to be friends with that rich boely fellow. If we get Lukaku of their hands they might buy players from us for a shitload of money?

I seriously have no other idea and if we do buy Lukaku for vlahovic then I'm seriously missing a lot of matches next year

Probably because he's a proven Serie A scorer and we get one over on Inter, and we've been after him for years.

It's like we weigh up the age, dodgy recent injury record, poorer recent form, cost and history with our club and think that's a fair trade lol.

If we're genuinely after him, of course...

I always thought he would age poorly, he's massive and will get more and more muscular injuries.

if Vlahovic wanna go and we cant keep him and we receive a 70-80m offer than the rational choice should be someone like Johnatan David or Holjung

Lukaku is a spell for disaster

What happened to Hojlund? Wasn't he the guy all the papers were suggesting to be the replacement for Vlahovic? Why our sudden change of heart in favour instead for this 30 year old donkey?
