I don't understand the thought process. Whatever you think of Morata, he still produced 25 goals and assists so far. Like, how much better are we going to do there? Was that really the problem all season?

Meanwhile, Bernardeschi is playing left back.
100% this... we don't have enough FB, don't have starter material MF, been horrible coach so far... solutions? New strikers :sergio:

Taking me back to the last post I wrote. We need to change our management team, entirely

Sky, Mediaset and gazzetta all reporting the midfield buys will most likely be Aoauor and Locatelli not pogba. He wants to much for a salary at 15 mil a year and juve won’t pay.
Aiuta is 3.5 mil and Locatelli 1.5

It's for the better. We need young & hungry players anyway.

Aouar - Locatelli - McKennie certainly ain't perfect but it sounds like a good start for a midfield revamp.

Is he any good?

The most possible names + De Paul which could come also (IMO)

Aouar/Arthur - Locatelli/Bentancur - McKennie/De Paul

We should've gone after Pogba years ago, at this point he is 28, coming off 2 very disappointing seasons and 5 pretty disappointing years in ManUtd. At this point I don't think the pros outweigh the cons, there's a serious chance he might not get back to being a WC player ever again and it's very likely he'll have no resale value left after 3-4 years. If we get him on a good deal like 20m-30m and he halves his current wage it's probably worth it, but we all know its unrealistic, in his head he's probably the Kobe of football.

A new Leftback is badly needed someone that can actually go forward im sick to death of sandros lame ass and cuads has far too much work at moment.
if Ronaldo is here to stay at LW for another year, that's arguably as big of a need as a midfield upgrade.

we pay Ronaldo 30m a year because he can beat players 1v1 and historically has scored goals at a rate only one other player can match, however the guy that is supposed to stretch the defense and create those 1v1 situations is one of the least skilled left backs in all of the top clubs in Europe. Even if we look at Serie A LB/LWBs, off the top of my head Hernandez, Gosens and Spinazzola all put Sandro to shame when it comes to attacking capability.

Pogba wanting 15 mil net/year is far worse than Dybala wanting that. Dybala coming off being our Serie A MVP. Pogba coming off two complete shit seasons, where he was either injured or in awful form constantly.

But at least he spends the most time walking around the pitch of any mid in Premier League, that’s gotta be worth something lol

Agree we brought Ronaldo in but have not giving him any players really that suport him in anyway, only morata we can say is a signing that was brought in to benefit Ronaldo and it has.

In the modern game good attacking fullbacks is must especially when you have a midfield that do very little other than run and effort.

I still think it was a mistake that we let Spinazzola go. Back then it made zero sense and at this point it's probably even worse.
Awful decision. But then again we’ve done that more than a few times of late with young players.

Kean, Spinazzola, Caldara. All shipped off while we kept on with underperforming guys I the latter stages of their career.

A top class leftback, and two good young mids like Aouar/De Paul + Locatelli and this team is set for next year.

Cannot believe anyone supports bringing in Icardi lol. Literally just a poacher, who has scored less than Morata over the past 3 years, and would be the very worst type of CF partner for Ronaldo. If we go into next season with a fucked up mid and no leftback because we wasted money on an underperforming one-dimensional #9, no point in even tuning in.

But Spinazzola played quite well when he got his chance. Sure we had Sandro who played better (a bit) but when I saw how powerful his runs are and now dynamic he can be, I was like, hell, we can actually use this guy. Boom. All of the sudden: signed for Roma. Not just that but nobody came to replace him. It was one of the biggest shocks for me. Sure, it's not like we sold Messi kind of shock, but fucking stupid decision that's for sure. Really, really horrible.

As for Kean, he did suck in England, did he? I was a bit sceptical when there were rumors about him coming back. He had like 2 goals on 30 plus matches and we needed somebody to score goals. It was a really ballsy move from PSG I'll give them that. Turns out a great move from them in the end, he's scoring quite a lot at the moment, not just that, but he's very young as well. I see people mention his name here but I highly doubt PSG wants to let him go. I think he's off the table, unlike Mbappe and Icardi.

I think our management are stupid to buy and sell expensive players without securing a manager for next season, I don't want Pirlo because he's the biggest reason for our failures. With this current squad Sarri would've taken us to Serie A number 10 so rather than throwing money around for nothing, secure the next manager whoever that is then let him have his say.
He certainly is a huge part of the reason, but I'd argue the biggest reason(s) are the two clowns named Tootsie and Bozo.

Milik, Depay and Icunti  :howler:

Depressing tbh

The same rehashed shitty names. It's either lazy journalism or Tootsie and the scouting team are on a permanent vacation and can't be fucked to actually recruit quality players who are mentally sound, not limited, not broken and hungry for success.
