He’d prefer straight swap with Berna.
Poor Raphael.

I don't know who'll be worse off if Lyon get Turdeski and we get Icunti. I'll have to call @Raphaël to commiserate and check up on him.

are people fine with another year of CR7-Morata starting?

if so, who are the 2 forwards you'd buy who could accept the bench once in a while?
I'm not exactly fine with it, but whatever.

I can't think of any forwards who are worth bringing in and who'd accept the bench. Maybe Kean? :boh:

If, and only if we get Aouar and Locatelli first, and a LB (no idea who for this one), I wouldn’t mind signing Dollarumma on a free with big wages. But take care of real needs first and foremost, and then go for him after.
Exactly, thank you.

I also hope we sign 2 mids and not only one. Slim chances, though.

As for LB I see us move for Gosens and Marcelo.

I wonder if those kids people talked about last year are doing good and improving....Boadu, Malen, Thuramwho, Dake or whatever his name is...

Marcelo is a hard pass for me. Haven’t paid enough attention to know if Gosens is any good. But if he is. Gosens, Aouar, Locatelli, Dollarumma would be a great Mercato.
I can't say it's a bad mercato. But I'm not sure whether we should role with our forward line. Who's going to play upfront? If we're playing 3 upfront then Ronaldo and Chiesa should be strikers. I can't say I'm a fan of having Dybala and Ronaldo in the same lineup.

I like Dybala, he's an interesting player to watch (on a good day) but with a good offer I'd sell him.

Chiesa is a wide player. I’d say play a front 3 of Ronaldo-Morata-Chiesa. Morata is cheap, a good playmaking CF/assist man, and has produced pretty darn well given what we’re paying him, and this allows us to focus on upgrading more important areas this summer. Upgrade on Morata next summer, when we probably move on from Ronaldo too. Haaland or something.

Would you swap Dybala for Icardi?
I believe Icardi would do amazing here depending on the setup. I think many underrate him because he played for Inter. I'm not a huge fan of such strikers but the guy surely knows to find the net.

I'd like to see Dybala - Icardi - Chiesa

I'm not suggesting we should give up on Ronaldo to get him here, though. I'm just not entirely sure I'd like to see us play Ronaldo - Icardi - Chiesa.

If, and I say if, we were to play with 1 striker and we didn't have Ronaldo, then yeah, I do think he'd be our best buy. When I say best buy I'm not taking Mbappe and Haaland into consideration, though.

I don't how Morata fluctuates on his form. He's very unreliable imo.

But I wouldn't mind playing those three if it means we're getting strong midfield lined up. Also... man, I really do think we should get money from Dybala.

Malen and Thuram are playing good enough after breakouts last season (even if Thuram spit on someone and was banned for a while, way less goals this season, but he is playing more traditional winger now, and less of the CF role of last season). When you check his stats, Boadu isnt doing much at all in a weak league, its their regista DM/CM Koopmeiners standing out as their star. Patson Daka is scoring very regularly for Salzburg (30 games, 33 goals), but also, its still just the austrian league...

But Malen and Thuram would make sense, because they are very dynamic and versatile attackers, they can play across both wings, SS and CF. But they would be pricey, and maybe bit superflous for backup roles, when we have enough of that.
