His point is we miss few players and while midfield is obviously something we need to reinforce we also need to sort out the CF role.
Ronaldo is the only one who scores and Morata even though he is good is not amazing.
Dybala hasnt shown consistency and Kulu needs more time.
Haaland is a pure goalscorer and Ronaldo would finally have a partner who is a scoring speicalist.
Yes we also need to take care of our midfield but its not the only position we need to reinforce.
As for midfield - Fabian is way unlikely as Napoli will probably ask for a ridiculous amount especially when Juve is involved.
Pogba - Depends on price and salary.
Barella - Would be amazing but I dont think Inter would be willing to sell unless some financial problems and then maybe..
SMS and L.A - If Lazio get a relegation sentence we have a chance.
Aouar - 50M should do it but I really rather see us go for one of the former.

That's very likely to happen too. We've got midfield to fix and in order to fix it it's needed to splash quite a lot of cash. I don't see us selling Ronaldo to pump some money into the club so I don't think we even plan to spend big for attack, let alone abnormal amount that would be required to sign players like Mbappe or even Haaland. Seeing our current state of the club, I don't think many players would find us attractive, especially considering our CL runs.

After the financial report yesterday I think we might need to adjust our expectations for the summer. Looks like swaps and only buys after sales to me.
On that note, one CM must be sold. Promote Fagioli fully. Sell Bernahipster and promote Felix Correia to the first team.
We have guys on loan such as Pellegrini, Nicolussi, Perin, Pjaca and a host of U23 players we could move or use in exchanges. Other Serie A clubs must be in the same or similar position to us.
