I think the only team from England might go for Halland is Chelsea. They are in dire need of striker and Werner has been a total flop.

I can see them offer Werner in exchange of Halland to durtmond.and durtmond will definitely consider this deal
Not City where his dad used to play, who are owned by a country and who have Agüero leaving in the summer?

Liverpool for sure, especially if they sell one of Salah or Mane - otherwise, I don't see them going for him, and I don't see him going there.

The Red Cunts of Manchester will always be an option, because they have a fellow fisherman at the helm, and because they're fucking United.

City probably need a new striker, especially with Aguero becoming a relic.

Chelsea are garbage, but they could be able to offer money and some interesting youngsters.

Doubt that this is unpopular. Ronaldo is our best player but he is 36. Haaland is as close as there is anyone at the moment to be "the next Ronaldo".

The reason we don't have a midfield that functions better is not because funds are tied up with Ronaldo. Money has been spent.

Imo, it's a mixture of necessary rejuvenation of the team coinciding at this moment, with the old players retiring/leaving, plus "gambles" that didn't pay off.

It was a choice to go for De Ligt, Chiesa, Kulu, Demiral, etc. who commanded big transfer fees all together. While signing Rabiot and Ramsey as free transfers. It's not like there was only the Ronaldo money and that was spent on him and nothing else. It's the priority of the spending and the scouting.
You're proving my point. Funds were there but with certain constraints. Hence we decided to prioritize on certain areas of the pitch and ended up ignoring the midfield. I mean we made three free transfers in two consecutive years in midfield. Wouldn't have Paratici, in an ideal world, spend big money on our midfield and solve our midfield crisis once and for all?
Ronaldo should've been the icing on the cake, the final piece in the jigsaw of a well balanced team but instead he ended up being the cake himself. There were just too many holes and too many weak areas in the team that couldn't have been addressed in one summer hence we continued to regress.
No doubt there were some poor decisions taken by Paratici and Marotta that contributed to this regression hence why I feel there should've been some better foresight and planning when bringing an expensive commodity like Ronaldo to the club.
The capital increase could've helped us somewhat now even that got ruined with the pandemic.

Only way Haland is coming here is if HE wants to come here. Which means there needs to be a reason for him to want to come here. What reason could that be? The only one I see is Cristiano Ronaldo. So no, selling him won't work.

Won't happen anyway.
Only way Håland is coming here is after he has become 30 years old.

The guy who signed CR7?
And De Ligt. And while some might say that it was Agnelli or the Raiola/Nedved connection or whatever both are still here. I won’t rule us out for the summer of 2022. We are prepared to allow a release clause/gentelman agreement like with Pogba and De Ligt while other competing clubs aren’t and even though the release clause isn’t something to be happy about, I am happy to have at least 4 years of Haaland and then sell him for 200m rather than not having him at all, and best case scenario he is happy to renew with a higher salary and release clause.

CdS?
The fee is €75m because Raiola knows he can make €30m from the buying club as well. It suggests more like City or maybe Real Madrid than us, but plenty of people didn't expect us to sign De Ligt.
Where you can spend 75m, you can spend 105m. And other agents make decent amiunt from sizeable transfers as well, just that Raiola makes even more.

If 75m RC is true, I don't think transfer fee will be the biggest sticking point. It might be salary and obv "the will of the player."
I think any of Liverpool, United, City or Chelsea might be in for Haaland
Lol at Utd or Chelsea being attractive destination for Haaland.

City, we and Bayern (if they decide to spend big for a change in order to replace Lewa) seem the likeliest.

The problem that we have to get Haaland is his wages, we cant offer 10+ m wages with Ronaldo on the team.

To me, to get Haaland several things must happen:

1. Sales... we will have to get rid of at least 5 or 6 players, including Rabiot and Ramsey (their wages are to high)... the problem here... well we cant sale for s$it... :boh:
2. Wages... we compete against teams who will be ready to offer probably more than 15m in wages... we cant do that, see our financial situation... so we will have to find a solution to at least offer him something decent
3. Serie A is not attractive to strikers... so we must find something to attract the kid... Ronaldo? maybe....
4. Raiola will take him to the team that pay him the most... more money....
5. At the moment we are a "work in process" a team that is building a project, that may or not be interesting for Haaland, depends on how you pitched to the guy and Raiola.

So... imposible? no... but I just dont see it happend, especially when we even cant convince teams like Genoa to sell us a player....

normally we could, and we did it with de ligt too. we also allegedly offered 10m to dybala. we could have easily convinced genoa to sell scamacca, they set a (high) price, which we rightfully refused. tici would have been (rightfully) crucified if he would have paid 20m for that guy.

a year ago, juve finances were doing fine. but covid and the related financial issues are much more important than the ones on your list. a ~110m loss for half a season simply makes our next mercati unpredictable.

we are not talking about 10m wages... I dont think Haaland or Raiola would accept at least 15m for him... with our current situation we cant afford that and to afford that we will have to sell... and again, we dont sell water in the desert...

Also have in consideration that is not like we will only have to go for Haaland, we will have to have money to get Haaland and other players to fill positions in which we are weak...

And I agree that we did well not getting Scamacrap dude... what Im saying about that is that, to get a player like Haaland that is wanted for all Europe, in the absence of money, we must have a great DS that can sell Juventus to the kid, we dont have that... and no, De Ligt situation is not the same.

Its not impossible but improbable...
