Heung Min Son is probably valued at 100+

All those PremFags, regardless of whether they're good or not, are insanely overpriced.

I actually like the Korean, but I'm not sure he'd actually fit with Ronaldo. We have to consider that any striker we bring in will have to be a foil, for CR7, which means their productivity and output, in all likelihood, is going to decrease.

I just read that Barca will propose a swap of Dybala with Griezman
:yuck: :inter:

I can see us accepting such a proposal, especially if Messi leaves Barca, and The Dancing Pansy agrees to lower his wages.

Dybala gets to be the focal point of Barca's attack, and we bring in another PussyFag to keep Rabiot (provided he stays) company. Now, we just need another French PussyFag to complete the Menage A Trois. We just need to steer clear of that cuntbag at Marseille, Payet.

I agree with Gordo that there's too many ifs with Dybala, I'd rather have Son, you at least know what to expect.

When Dybala is on form he's great to have but him thriving only for certain periods and then dwelling on others is not reliable.

1 over 2 seasons he's having problems. Great in 2015-2016 then had problems getting into/started slow in 2016-2017, then great in 2017-2018, then pretty bad in 2018-2019, then great in 2019-2020, then this season he didn't feature much due to injury but at the start of the season he started dwelling since the goal came more difficultly

I like the player, if it weren't for the rest of the squad being useless his inconsistencies wouldn't be as much of problem but it is what it is.

We’ll end up selling either Dybala or Ronaldo in the summer as we are for all intents and purposes completely bankrupt.

This is going to be a really difficult transfer window. Likely we’ll be swapping or signing free agents. Can’t see much squad improvement taking place =(

If Utd wants to sell VDB should we jump on it?

From all the players we were linked there is one player that fits our needs more than the other (considering budget as well) and he is RDP.
We need someone who can link our plays to our attack and always move the ball forward + he should be able to shoot and pass + a bonus RDP is a quite good set piece taker.
Below 40M we should definitely take him.

Both would be enormous upgrades over the likes of permainjured Ramsey, soft as whipped cream Rabiot and Bentancur.
I agree.

But my question is, is that enough? I mean, despite it being an obvious upgrade, I doubt those two would make a threat in Europe. Signing them and having them as our starting XI still looks quite underwhelming. Pretty Milan/Inter standard midfield when they were struggling for years.

They'd get quite decent contract I'm pretty sure about it. Then I highly doubt we'd plan to replace them again next summer to put them on the bench as back ups.

Shortly, are those two good enough to chase CL and a long term investment? I somehow doubt that's the case.

Of course it’s not enough. Nowhere close to being enough. But you see the fucked up situation this club has gotten itself into financially? It sucks but it is what it is right now.

Honestly I haven't seen that. I'm scared to look into details because after signing De Ligt and Ronaldo it's so sad to see us being linked with Locatelli and De Paul.

I wouldn't mind such short term fix which turns into backup plan, but I know if we pull those two out of our hat we'll have them starting for the next 4 seasons and I just see that tearing Europe down.

When I think about it I'd probably say it's Bayern who does best when it comes to transfers. They have a such a great squad, balanced, and they always sign amazing talents. We're so bad compared to them, way too many misses, way too many ups and downs. That is why I think our management should be replaced. Yes, we did manage to sign Ronaldo, De Ligt and some others, but we had waaaaaaaay to many misses on those hits.
