No but given he basically said we are looking elsewhere when speaking about draxler and said he doesnt think borussia would be willing to sell, to me sounds like we will look elsewhere. Not saying that we will get him but i feel like the trequartista will be someone you wouldnt think.

Yea but when asked about cuadrado, marotta said he has different characteristics compared to the player to what they want. So id lamela also has similar characteristics to cuadrado as both being more of a winger no?

I wouldn't count Draxler out just yet. Remember not too long ago Marotta ruled out Sandro. I think it'll be either Draxler or Lamela

Lamela can and has played CAM. Not much different than Draxler position wise.

Lamela can and has played CAM. Not much different than Draxler position wise.

I agree but i wouldnt say lamela is exactly the creative type. Him and berardi strike me as very similar players

Cause, the player needs to be worth it.


The actual value of isco is 40-45mil. Real Madrid however, will not even consider a sale under 60-70 million if they arent planning on it.
- The actual value is 40-45mil
- The transfer value would be 70-80mil
- Some people here, call that difference the "overpaying".


We look for players like Sandro. Actual value about 20-25mil. If not in final year of contract, easely worth Coentrao money.
In final year of contract, managed to get him for exactly his actual value. Exactly the deal Marotta seeks


I dont know how high the number for "money is not the issue" can go. But you can bet the "overpaying" factor will have to be pretty limited.
