Rather pay for an overrated 21 year old with a decade of football ahead of him than a late 20's proven player with few years left. Dybala has a resell value even if he's not doing as great as expected.

A player like Lamela who has been poor for a long time now is still worth a lot of money due to his young age.

Calling Iturbe a failure will only empower him to take everyone by storm next season. The kid is 21 years old. If you buy a 27 year old Nedved for €40m and he's a failure you've wasted all your money. You see my point in regards to why Dybala is this expensive?

I beg to differ. There are multiple reasons he hasn't made a breakthrough. He's yet to show any sort of consistent form, while he's perfectly fine from a physical point of view. It's not as if the competition at Inter is so overwhelming and/or he's an unknown factor.

The main reason is that both club and country managers made him learn a new role, a more defensive-holding the mid/flanks one. Give the guy his old Trequartista role back like at São Paulo where he can dictate what happens in the pitch and he'd flourish.

Still 1. i personally wouldn't want him here and 2. this discussion is pointless, mirror is as fake as my wife's tits.

I was talking about Kovacic, idd. My apologies for the confusion. And that's exactly what I think. The kid has some skills, but he has everything to prove. He's shown shit in Italy so far. So no I wouldn't pay 25 mil, when we have more than enough certainties in our midfield.
